Just fitted a tbt maxi kit to my hw97kt

I’m going to get hate for it but I don’t have a chronograph. I can use one at the club though.

I should buy one. The FX seems to be popular.
You got access to one that's the main thing, personally if you can eventually find your way to getting your own then that's a step in the right direction we live in times today where we shooters are forever being judged unfortunately so anything we can possibly do to prevent inadvertently being non compliant of the rules we are forced to operate under the better.
Sadly that is the way of such things .

I’ll order one. This is my only spring rifle and I chronographed it when I bought it and when I was at the two clubs I’ve been members of. This is the first time modifying the internals of an air rifle. So I’m keen to get it tested.

I’m doing a HW45 shortly which l will also need to be tested. I don’t really have anywhere to shoot at home so even if I had one it would only get chance to be tested at the club with the space to shoot.

My club is only a daytime outdoor club on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. As I’m still working I can only go on Tuesday. My old club was indoor and open most nights so I could go a few times a week.

Chronos are peace of mind, not wanting to go all political but the very essence of this thread is of being aware of shall we say the surprising differences a seal/ whatever can make.
Access to or the owning of a chrono is essential today. failing to stay compliant is the difference between shooting and or Fishing for a long time. I am sure we all agree its hard to put a price on that. Ps I do enjoy fishing too... LOL!

I guess the real question is which chronograph to buy? I see the FX pocket one as the clear easiest to use and carry. So unless there’s something I’m missing I’ll order one of them.

If i just tested air rifles i would get a LMBR R2A chrono. my lad has one as does a mate.
I get F1 Pro chroy i test a lot of shotgun loads steel tungsten bismuth etc for fowling i have different needs.
There is one thats cheap i saw a vid on it but it seemed quite a bit off from what bit i saw was something like under £30 iirc, can not remember much detail on it now might be worth a look at least, but me air guns no shotgun i would get the LMBR R2A. just sayin.

The FC chrono can be 'hit and miss' with springers and some .177 pellets. They are also placement sensitive, as they rely upon Doppler radar technology. You'll find something like the LMBR R2A more convenient, and less placement fussy.

I’m trying to find one in stock now. Seems to be a popular one. I’m 99% that’s the one at the club too.
