Hmmmm. Is it the balance sheets that put you off. They rarely tell the full story. The first one indicates that the company is doing reasonably well and is solvent. Yes there has been a big drop in net assets, but debt has also been substantially reduced. Nothing in that one that suggests they are about to go under and liquidity is good. The second balance sheet is for a different and most likely inactive company. Nothing I read in the balance sheets would put me off

Lot's of good reports along with the bad ones, the biggest one is the time factor, and they sure ain't quick but the 2 I have had done were no problem.
When you were reading through this thread, you may or may not have noticed that @SJS, the thread starter in post number 105 accused me of being part of Ratworks; he even alluded to me being Phil Crampton. None of that is true. I'm just a forum member who disagreed with him; my only contact with them was the 2 rifles they worked on for me, which meant 4 visits to their workshops. The last one they worked on was an Anschutz 9015 back in 2023, have shot this rifle for the last 3 years with absolutely no problems, but as said earlier, they ain't Quick.

So I called them today. A couple of rings a d a cheerful 'hello' and I thought happy days! They asked me to send an email, which I did. Let's see how long it takes to respond. The day 48 hours 🙂.

P.s. I've no dog in this fight... race, exercise.
 
I emailed ratworks today and had a reply in 2 &half hrs I think that's a pretty quick response
 
I mailed them over Easter and got a reply today. Tried ringing as close of business but couldn’t get an answer but my fault for leaving last minute.
Personally I think they get a lot of unjustified sh1t5.
 
Just realised I didn't email I used rhe online form. I'll email tomorrow. Never trust the online form things. No idea why.
 
Well, just got the email that minds ready, sent to them on the 26th Feb so nearly on schedule, dont mind it being a bit late as would rather have it done right, looking forward to getting it back and trying it out, I did ask for it to be delivered this week as off to D Range this weekend but heigh ho, didnt work out but back there again in May
 
I can only speak from experience, I have had 3 rifles built by them, a great springer, an R10 that had the full works and was, and still is a stunning rifle, my last experience was them building me an FTP900 to compete with, simply one of the most accurate rifles I have ever owned or shot.
Are they fast, no, but they make that super clear when you book it in, but to date I have nothing but praise for what I asked for, against what I got back.

The service in particular on the FTP, I was clear what it was for and was going to the worlds last year, they rang me during testing to go through exactly what I needed and it’s never missed a beat since.

We are open as a forum for any member to leave feedback on their experience, it helps the wider community, but it should be fair and proportional.
I have no links, or skin in the game with them, but I would use them again in a heartbeat, and appreciate the time it takes to get what you want 👍
 
Mines arrived today, so far Im impressed but will find out tomorrow when Im at the D Range to put it through its paces. Woohoo!!!!!
 
Very impressed with my rifle! Always planned to have ratworks do their magic on it and so glad I did! Communication was slow but was always contacted, thinking of another rifle to add but not sure the boss would take it very well 😂👍
 
My HW100 is now with them. Estimated 4 weeks but had an email saying it will be 6 weeks. I’m absolutely fine with that, my view is they have a lot of good reviews and are obviously experts, especially on HW100’s. Made sense for me to send mine rather than buy a new HW100x. I’m looking forward to it being returned and will certainly share my experience.
