What the bloody hell have you lot done to me

Thus ends my attempt to live vicariously through others. It's all projection from me

That's the thing though. If you got a HFT500 (with a nice little benchrest wedge, and a nice scope like a sightron SII) that might be your favourite!! Or a Steyr! Or a HW30?

There's an HFT500 somewhere with your name on it....

You're short a bullpup, a self-indexer and a nerd-mode benchrest setup imo! Excellent collection there. I have a similar problem to you. I downsize by getting rid of what I'm not shooting but then I've filled the space in the cabinet by the end of the month

Does it damage a PCP to dry fire it??

It may show that, but: 1) it makes no mention of forces on the firing valve 2) it's not real data 3) it doesn't say what modelling (if any) was used to produce the data 4) it doesn't plot forces/pressures with and without a pellet It's made to illustrate something else. It's also obviously not...

@MrDellski is absolutely correct, I think. It's also probably worth considering that very often the valve is still open long after the pellet has left the barrel - this most often happens when the reg pressure is too low and the valve doesn't snap home quickly enough, wasting air. It'll also...

    Taipan Slash Air Rifles

That's correct. You also get a full set of replacement o-rings which I thought was a nice touch.

    Taipan Slash Air Rifles

No complaints at all. I printed out the pellet specific seating tool, which has marginally improved accuracy, but other than that as above. It's now probably had about 10 tins of pellets through it (seriously, it is that expensive to run 😅 ) and it has been flawless. I've had it over the chrono...

You're planning on using yours as a moderator? Mine's going straight up my bum 😇 For legal reasons I will state: Not really, do not do this

Bit of a contradiction here no? If 3000 people have pre-ordered on how it looks, then they obviously do like funky. I'm looking forward to trying one of these as they look nicely made and I'm a fan of the barmy design (if that's not unkind to say)

    QYS Pellets FPS

good point - my rule of thumb above is for PCPs and should be taken with a pinch of salt. But 11.2 ish with your most efficient pellet is usually safe.

    QYS Pellets FPS

Absolutely it could. You always want to give yourself a good amount of headroom. A nice general rule is around 11.2 ish with heavy pellets
