If anyone was waiting like me!
It's only the £259 one which is internal PSU but manual cut off I think?
The internal PSU was the only important bit to me so happy with whatever arrives, was pumping but doing the FAC Airwolf was the last straw for me

4 left at the time of writing!

Are these a semi decent pump then? Anyone had one for more than a few months? Great price and I definitely need a compressor as the nearest dive shop to me charge a fair bit for air and they're not that close to home.

They are pretty much a copy of the Nomad2 which is £600, they are apparently by the same peeps in the same factory, so when my Nomad finally pops its clogs, I'll be getting one of these as a replacement.....

Have you had any issues with it? Also will it fill up a bottle (5L) ok?
NO, they are designed to fill guns only, you may get away with a small bottle, say 0.5l or 1l at a push, day tripper type, but if you try a large bottle it will take all day and you will kill the compressor. They are not designed for that.

If that's the case PJGTech then that's amazing for the money. I was looking at the cheap ebay ones that you have to have a cold bucket of water etc but I would prefer having one I can use either at home (without the faff of a bucket) and out in the field using my car battery

Yeah I went with this one as no hassle with water etc.

I did read one review on Amazon saying the 12v is pants so just get an inverter and use the 230, our van has a 230v socket already so we’re spoilt

If the 12v leads are the same length as the nomad ones, then they are a bit short, I extended mine by soldering on some jumper leads, but TBH rarely use it from the car anyway. If using with the car you need the engine running or it will flatten a battery pretty quick! With the short leads you have to balance the compressor on the car up front near the battery or put it on the ground, not good if its wet / muddy, apart from that they are great, but only for direct to gun, not for cylinders as stated previously. The ones that have separate water via bucket etc usually are designed to fill larger bottles.

Nomad2 review, not a tuxing but effectively the same thing...

Ok fair enough, just filling the rifle it is then. Buying an inverter actually sounds better anyway as that'll be useful for other things like when we go camping. I remember years ago before we had compressors and using a hand pump for my A&M extended bottle for the HW100 and even though I was in my early 30's it almost killed me. Wasn't ideal even with my BSA Ultra and that was a tiny tank haha

I've had mine over 6 months....problem is I haven't used it yet - its still in the box. I checked the earth and it was good...then back under the bench. sorry, not much help

Used mine today to do my three guns got it in January used it a few times no issues thus far I paid 170 odd for the external power supply with non auto shut off but the one with internal power supply and auto shut off turned up so happy days they are quite noisy and slow is the only thing I would say as a negative so far

Pretty sure its not going to be as slow as overweight 40yr old me with the FX pump :ROFLMAO:
