Cats

I get annoyed when the buggers kill the birds on my feeders in the garden. I've put mesh along the hedge to stop them having a quick ambush, so now they have to go an extra 4 or 5 feet to get to them in the open, its not much, but it's better than nothing

I don't condone anyone hurting them BTW, it's not only against the law, but it gives the likes of us a very bad name, so please do not even think about it as a solution - get a dog and clean up it's crap instead, best cat deterrent out there;)

As above,

Our neighbour has two cats, killed a few of our baby blackbirds last year I reckon.

Maybe magpies but my money is on the cats…

Cats, by their nature, are vagabonds & hunters, thus, when caught short, will need to answer nature's call, wherever they may be.. People get too bent out of shape over penny ante things. There's bigger problems to get flustered over than the odd feline " care package" or grabbing a meal in one's garden.

As above...I wouldn't condone harm to them but I detest them.
I'm also a very keen gardener as well as other hobbies & were absolutely plaqued around here with pets & stray cats roaming the garden, the amount of times I've trodden or kneeled in cat shit is unbelievable 😡.

My cat keeps catching pigeons and bringing them to me . Not a fan of the bird killing but i am afriad its their nature.

Do you get annoyed if you step in Dog crap ?
I have never been annoyed by cows pats, Just a animal that craps everywhere other than its own garden,by all accounts.
I just love pottering around my garden covered in cat crap that stinks.
I wonder if my cat lover neighbour will get annoyed if i throw the crap on his patio?

I watch where I walk ( habit picked up living around pit vipers)... Knowing how cats are, if it annoys you so, employ cat deterrents, or buy a dog. If in fact you can prove it's your neighbors cat - I'd have no qualms returning the cat's belongings; to the front door...I'm funny like that.

Oops

Legally cats are not "in Hand " whatever the cat does the owner cannot be brought to court , If a dog transgresses the owner can be brought before the courts .
I am not keen on cats in general but those that really like their cats don't let them out to poo in other peoples gardens .

Beautiful cat. I too pay attention to where I walk years of driving tippers looking out for things on the tip that will puncture tyres and spoil your day.

Yeah, he's a handsome beast alright. I'm a Cream fan, so, took to calling him " Baker", for obvious reasons.👍🥁🥁

As a " Public Service Announcement" ...
A 10 second Google threw this up :
Cats are deterred by -
Lavender
Rue
Citronella
Lemon Balm
Rosemary
Oregano
Curry Herb...
Some stuff y'all can plant & potter with to cat safe & brighten your garden.

You're Welcome.🙂
I put a crocadile in my garden and the buggers still pooed

One of the best deterrents for cats pooping in your garden is... A cat.
Another way is encourage them n get to know them. The pooping is often territorial limit marking, so if you welcome them into your garden, often, they'll make next door's their boundary limit. Doesn't always work.
Patch digs up the moss on the lawn n poops there, do have to be on the look out. She does that as there's competition from the neighbours cats.

My wife is the cat person in our house, I can walk past "our" cat on a daily basis and not even look at him, yet I feed him more than she does, it's my first job in the morning before I feed myself, He's part of my life now.

My next door neighbour who I detest has a yapping pocket dog, it barks if a leaf blows pat the window, it has barked today for 4 hours constantly whilst I was fixing the shed roof in the garden. It barks for hours on end constantly whilst locked in alone. I've never actually seen it being taken for a walk.

Give me a silent cat shit in my garden every minute of every day over a horrible yapping mutt that is actually spoiling my quality of life at the moment, which I blame on it's owner for negligence.
