Anyone know anything about this company 3 Legged Thing's airgun moderator range Reservoir Mods and the Modfather

Our brand is literally "sore thumb" in italic, bold, capitals, with a funky font.
Most serious shooters want form and function over funky!

Loads of people have tested it against every brand - DonnyFL, 0DB, Weihrauch etc. We pre-sold 3000 reservoir Mods last month (just in the UK) off the back of the shooting show, and all the media we've had since. I promise you, it's not just up to the task...
How many is ‘loads’ and what were the results ? That’s what people are wanting to know!

3000 people have pre-ordered based on how it looks, not how it performs.

Bit of a contradiction here no? If 3000 people have pre-ordered on how it looks, then they obviously do like funky.

I'm looking forward to trying one of these as they look nicely made and I'm a fan of the barmy design (if that's not unkind to say)

There seems to be a bit of tyre-kicking going on... 🙄

I'm happy to trust 3LT's engineering experience and innovation here. If you purchase one and it's not what you expect, you can always return it.

It's a British product from a British company... Support it instead of knocking it! 🙂

Saw them at the BSS and they look great.
I love the look - but thats secondary behind performance. Which also looks like it'll be great.
Trying really hard not to pre order one as I don't have a rifle for it to go on, and we all know how thats ends (number of rifles increases 🤣)

I'm running a sak on one of mine and a standard empty can on the other so don't mind putting either in the cupboard to make room for one 😁👍

🤔 that said maybe do I need another airgun 😂🤣😂

I've been using 3 Legged Thing for years starting with a Punks Rick tripod which we recently upgraded to a second Leo, Rick has gone to pastures new where I am sure he will still give sterling service for many years. Between us, 'er indoors (the proper photographer) and I, have two tripods, two mono-pods, a window mount and various L-brackets, ball heads and plates. Every one is superbly engineered and beautifully made and it is a real pleasure to use them. I didn't get a chance to see their mods at the BSS, our range was just too busy for me to get away for long enough, but I am impressed with what I've seen on t'internet so far. I don't suppose you'll be bringing them to the Wales and West Photo 2026 Danny (@Wreckless), how about slipping a Reservoir Mod in a Vanz box for me to have a quick look at in the corner ;) , we will be there on 18th. I am also going to check out Phil, fed up trying to prop the iphone against teacups etc.
Weird selling arrangement at that show, everything goes through the organisers CameraCentreUK based in Cardiff, or at least it has in previous years.

Well I've put my money where my mouth is and ordered two Reservoir Mods. Both chamfered and one in orange for the Ghost and the other one in black for the DRS Tactical (or wherever else it ends up). 🙂

Now I've just got to be patient and wait 😁

You're planning on using yours as a moderator? Mine's going straight up my bum 😇

For legal reasons I will state: Not really, do not do this

I am sure reservoir mods would make an awesome adult toy 😂

However it would presumably have to be dedicated at that point as switching between the two (your gun and bum) would definitely be a serious health risk 😂🤣

Like you said "Not really do no not do this" 🤔 maybe beings it's 2026 it's best 3 legged thing put that on the box 🙄🤪🤦‍♂️

I'll ask Stuart and Alison to bring a couple for you to peruse.

Thanks for all your interest. Going to back out of this thread now, just because I'd rather leave the proving to you guys than get sucked into a debate about whether we're all style and no substance. Cheers all.

Quick first impression very well made, nice packaging and a couple of shots on the Katran definitely showed a difference from the mod that was on it.
I am going to try and find time this week and do a comparison test against some of my others mods, thinking of testing with the hw100 and tm1000 as they probably have the biggest bark of my rifles and maybe put it against the 0bd, weihrauch, twink, and big 200x40mm carbon I have.
