Pard NV007 or Sightmark wraith

I’d go Pard NV007 if you already have a day scope, light, flexible, and good value. Wraith’s fine if you want an all-in-one day/night scope, but it’s heavier and a bit more fiddly. For most airgun work, I’d pick the PARD

I would pick (as I have one) the pard due to it being more versatile there’s a small compromise due to head position but if you use sticks etc you won’t find it an issue…👍🏻

I have both ... Got my Pard 007 when they first came out .. I did struggle a bit at first with head position but I got round this by making an extendable butt pad which solved my problem... I picked up a used sightmark Wraith 2-16x28 from this forum a while ago but only recently started using it on a PR900w and have been pleasantly surprised with the nice bright daylight image and the quality of the night vision also the one shot zero although basic is easy to use .
Hard to say for me which I prefer the pard is easy to use and can be kept in a coat pocket or bag until required
The Sightmark is pretty much ready for day or night use with the addition of a ir torch
I would probably say the pard is best for me as can use scope during daylight and simply clip on the pard for night vision use and no need for extra illumination

I have the pard, that can be picked up second hand at very reasonable prices, and do the job well, and make a nice handheld night vision device in their own right.

Got a pard 007v and had 2 sight mark wraith’s, the pard is more flexible in that if you have say 4 scopes with either AO or SF you have in effect 4 night vision scopes.

The wraith is OK, a tad heavy, picture quality good, not as good as some but clear enough for what you want
There are better spec units out there but they will all cost more, so it all relative I suppose

Just go with what you think you need

Pard Night Stalker Mini.
Traditional scope, very intuitive and user friendly and performs well.
Add a decent IR and jobs a good un, good price too 👍

They are both about £300 new. Thats about my budget. I would consider s/h but it would have to be local to me.

I had a Sightmark Wraith 4K Max and next to the glassed and tubed scopes it was absolutely fantastic. Then I saw one of these; you can thank me later. Both 3x and 5x available at this price.
