Air Logic Genesis strip down and reblue

Does anyone know someone who can strip down and service an Air Logic Genesis. Once stripped, I need to send it away to be reblued unless the same person can reblue it?) then it needs servicing/rebuildingz

it’s all a bit up in the air now as I’m not even sure if I want to buy something ‘unseen’ then if I do bid, I might not bid enough, it’s currently at first bid of £500 plus 34% commission. I’ve put the feelers out to see if anyone can strip one down and service it and get it reblued to remove the rust spots as a way to find out what the budget needs to be. I really want to walk away from it as it seems too much trouble to get it back to how it should be?

Sounds like a money pit.
Save up a bit more and put a wanted add on here for a minter. They are about and people do sell.

Sounds like you're planning ahead.

Money could be spent on better guns.

Personally wouldn't go near another one, absolute pig to use, especially if it's gonna be used regularly.

The odd shot and the kudos of looking at it over the mantle piece is ok if that's what you like to do.

Only my opinion of course.

@Tomdavies9 might be able to help with the stripping/service side of it.

Re-blue, Shaun at ISP who also builds his own guns from scratch so probably knows his way around summat like the ALG.

We have all been there Ian: we get an idea that we need a particular rifle/pistol and it can become almost an obsession. This behaviour usually ends in massive disappointment and financial regret, although not always.
Look at the insanity around Whiscombe's-£10k in one instance I heard about.........

I’m so glad you said that……mind made up. Not sure I can get into ‘wanted adds’ yet ….but I’ll save up, plus I hate the idea of paying all that commission 35.94% I’d rather pay it to a seller than to an auction house
