Back in the early seventies at the beginning of my air rifle shooting days my kit for a days hunting/plinking consisted of a rifle slip my trusty BSA Cadet Major a handful of pellets and an old pruning penknife...
Nowadays my kit has grown quite extensively...
Rifle scope magazine spare magazine pellets spare pellets bipod shooting sticks shooting mat pop up hide and a backpack containing night vision night vision spotter rangefinder torches usb hand warmer couple of knives spare batteries and loads of other stuff I've forgotten was in there the list goes on and on
Oh and a trangia stove for making a brew in the hide ....
Can't help thinking that a days shooting was far easier in my younger days

To the range, usually me and the lad both have a back pack. Pellets, targets, tripods, pistol/s in to. Also tools, bahco 1/4, hex keys, drivers.
Then a rifle in each hand, so ~4 in total. Usually 2 pcp rifles, 1 or 2 springers/ pcp pistol carbine ,in a larger case(too big for back pack).
It’s times like this you realise how much easier rifles are in gun slips! Not large cases.
Travelling circus springs to mind😀

Rifle x two mags my tin of aa boot of car boots bag of feed.. in wheely bin back of house my decoys in boot of car when needed.
I have a drill box that i keep my night site in ,and thats in house but gos in boot of car when needed.
Or and not forgetting my flask of week witch piss tea and at least 1/2 a pack of chocolate biscuits

I have a rucksack that I put a first aid kit, torch spare batteries, spare cloths knife flask, water. obviously I dont carry it around with me but its i the boot just incase something unexpected happens.

Gun, primos tripod trigger sticks, thermal spotter ( night and day)
Pellets, phone .knife and rangefinder carried in small shoulder bag .
Only difference for nights is spare batt for pard and a torch ..flask maybe .

have to admit with all my shooting expeditions the only time i was stopped was with a fishing rod quiver and small bag walking down the road between pegs on the river at 2am in the morning its a barbel rod honestly

Most of my shooting is late afternoon evening on a couple of smallish permissions so need hide for daytime and tend to move around after dark with night vision ... Have tried just taking what I think I need but inevitably forget something  ...
Luckily I have a campervan so tend to take nearly everything

Well I shoot only at my local range and I pretty much fill my car boot up with gear. And fill back seat up with guns . Getting way too much clobber.

i was metal detecting on a farm with a group dig and helped the farmer bailing and asked if i could come back and mooch about with the air rifle i returned a week later with rifle and jack Russel he asked why the dog and simple answer was she sees more than me shot there for a further two years till he gave up the farm

Not masses, when I'm wandering the perm at night; gun, 4 mags, knife, torch, spare battery and an old fishing tripod with a pole roller rest.
In the motor.. in the 'drag' bag; spare bottle of air, allen keys, leatherman, 250 size tin of pellets, few blank A4s, tape, Sharpie and a copy of my permission slip.
Hide and poles permanently in the car and a tin backstop.

At the minute hw90 carried on a sling ,small pack of pellets in jacket or trouser pocket . I have a small game bag that I carry that’s got flask of tea knife mobile etc that I stash in a tree or under a hedge while I go mooching .
