VHNGD to me and the last I'll ever buy...

superb rifle ,, had the pleasure of using this and its is bob on , very good choice . (y)

One of the reasons I was so eager to buy it, derived from the obvious cast-iron (more like solid gold) provenance, was knowing it would be perfect.

The other big reason was having previously handled, it I knew it would suit most of the shooting I do now or am ever likely to do. Which makes most of my previously compiled inventory redundant. It will excel as an all-rounder. Walking gun? Light and short, could carry and shoot it for a long time, rested or offhand to a decent standard, old and feeble as I am.
Rested at the range it will be metronomically accurate up to a certain distance and it could be at that point other guns I have are better at sixty yards, say.
I also fancy my being able to employ it for HFT. I've struggled to find the best gun for me there (and have been massively hampered by an injured ankle) but I have high hopes. (y)

The last you'll ever buy????? I reckon your nose will be growing longer than the gun barrel!

:ROFLMAO: The opening of the post does sort of acknowledge that. However, as I mention above, this makes several guns I have redundant so I can guarantee I will sell before I buy another.

But, in all honesty, there's nothing I want currently unless there's a LoutWorks Anniversary Model of something somewhere down the line. Now he's The Lupine Lout maybe something special will emerge later in Daystate livery? 🤷‍♂️

with a @deleted member shroud(?)
Nah, the shroud is made by @Hmangphilly. When he casts his magic spells over the already great LW blanks he hides his secrets under a carbon skin.

Off the top of me head:
  • LW barrel machined by Mr Philly
  • I think on that one the inlet/barrel port is a Huma Hi Flow (not 100% sure because Mr Philly made us some for several of the barrels he's done for us)
  • Plenum packer
  • Shimmed hammer guide
  • set up with 5 bar step
  • reg polished and all new o rings
  • hammer set for around 705fps with JSB 10.34gr

And you charged him £500 for that ! You should be ashamed , you’ve mugged him off .

MODS ban him , no stone him Dancing banana

Gosh am I rude to ask price or if you have to ask you can't afford it.
I think the price was very reasonable. Not a cheap special to produce. The donor gun say a Crown VP is £1100, a new 300cc carbon bottle is about £260, barrel blank from chambers nearly £200, machining by Mr Philly is a secret in case Mrs Lout lurns to use the internet or @Scoie drops me in it (again!), my time and expertise and finally a LoutWorks keyring priceless :ROFLMAO:
