The Shooting Booth Is Re-Emerging. Got to Love Mrs TinCan

The artificial lawn is the next step...

But at 4m x 5m this is bloody heavy stuff. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

And that's just the 4m length in the photo. It's got to be turned sideways once it's at the bottom of the garden. ๐Ÿค”

Promise her you will tend to the โ€˜lawnโ€™ once itโ€™s down to keep it mowed, short & tidy just so she doesnโ€™t think youโ€™re being lazy! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Not quite so much a productive day today.

The ground is not as easy-going as expected, and we've had some family commitments to contend with.

But, Mrs TinCan has at least managed to finish the underlay...

That's an awful lot of weedstop she's pinned down in a couple of days. ๐Ÿฅฐ

โ€œTurned sideways at the bottom of the gardenโ€
What we talking about here?

What you see is the 4m width of it, not the 5m length of it.
So, once it's been dragged to the bottom of the garden, it's got to be rotated 90 degrees before it gets unrolled. And believe me, this is ruddy heavy stuff at about 50Kg.

I'm unable to help due to my medical condition but, somehow, Mrs TinCan managed to get it there this morning on her own...

I have no idea how she managed that.

Maybe she's got a little team of garden gnome immigrants that you don't know about Tony ๐Ÿ˜‰

I did ask, but she says not, Mark. ;)

Mrs TinCan is determined, if nothing else, and she'd already moved it this morning before I knew about it.

Treated her to the Miniature Dolls House Fair at Stafford County Showground this morning...

I treat her to this every year. (y)

But, she's determined to get that grass rolled out and laid before teatime today. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Well, the weather, family and work commitments (Mrs TinCan works permanent nights) prevented that happening on Sunday, or any day since.

However, the good lady and Isla (her granddaughter) went out this afternoon and unfurled it and rolled it out.

It's not been cut to shape, stretched or pinned yet, but it's starting to look pretty good...

Niffler (our cat) seems to like it.
