Steve.

Sand Martins one person who i met called them today but the merlin app called them Bank Martins .

YouTube crops the quality but you can still see them.

Normally they use this banking for nesting but not so much this year. There is a few holes though .

We've got a new visitor ... one of this year's young hares with totally out of proportion ears and no control over either yet 😊

Been trying to get some better pictures of 'Harry' this morning, but he keeps going apeshitbonkers. Think flies must be bothering his ears as he suddenly jumps about 3 feet in the air and gets the zoomies, legging it at exocet speed from the front to back gardens and back again 😂

That's down to the Americans at Cornell Uni who developed the app. I'm surprised they weren't made to call them Trump Martins.

Well after all attempts at photographing him this afternoon failed dismally, I go into the kitchen to cook a little after 6 and he's there by the back door in a little scrape for a snooze after all the hooning about - low light and through glass :

Lovely sharp photos, what gear are you using?
Cheers, Nikon D500 and Sigma Sport 500mm f4.
Heavy old bit of kit 😅

Those were a few quick snaps through an open window, light was a bit low so the iso bumped a bit
