Which bag rest?

I bought the little cvlife one and it’s very handy. Cheap and Prefilled

I use a Caldwell Dead Shot, pre filled. Great quality. 0571C62C-D8F2-45C1-9B3A-2BCB4322C70B.jpeg
I agree with you , great quality, quite heavy though, i think filled with sand.
I also have the porta aim ,build quality is fantastic, but i find it a little bit too high for my home setup, quality though for the cost

For that reason I replaced my Porta-Aim with one of these which goes down to 4.5" (and is relatively cheap for this type of rest):

On the subject of bags though I have a Caldwell 'universal' rear bag and a little Protektor 7A front bag. Both filled with plastic pellets from eBay - I wouldn't personally use anything else now. Dust free, inert, doesn't attract moisture or rodents, nice weight.

I filled sandwich bags with rice or lentils, sealed them, then stuffed them into the bag rest. Reduces the risk of water ingress/absorption

Ended up using rice....Harvest Growers £0.52p a kilo @ Tesco's

Plastic pellets in mine. 3kg from eBay about £15 iirc.
Bags were just Amazon specials. Look exactly like the Caldwell ones but in different colours
