I've had this wee beauty for a few weeks and thought I'd finally get a scope on it and see how it performed? I chucked on an optimate that sat spare in the cupboard, gave it a zero and fired the first 2, seeing they landed on the same hole I carried on using dead centre of the sticky target as poa.

Well, to say I was surprised is an understatement!

This is a 10 shot group at 25 yards, rested

Now this GSX came mint in the original factory box and there are absolutely no signs of wear, the seller did say it went over to Andy @Blackmax but I can't recall why?

Anyway, a nice shooting start to 2026 😁

Jesus that’s first time I’ve seen a mint one like that.

Amazing rifle enjoy fella..
I looked at one last year and it had too many things on it that I didn't like, it seemed to have been messed about with too much for my liking.

When I went to pick up my SLR-98 the seller brought this out to show me as he thought I may be interested? As soon as I saw it I asked if it had ever been used as it looked untouched, I couldn't pass up on it.

I love these, I really regret letting my last one go as it was a cracking gun. They benefit from and adjustable cheek piece being fitted, at least for me personally but great guns.
Isn't it pretty much a Theoben MFR in a roundabout way?

More an updated mk2, quick fill and gauge fitted and a nicer looking stock. The mfr has a different bottle valve that doesn’t require unscrewing then firing a few shots and so on until you can fully unscrew it. The gsx range is for me the next evolution of the rapid, I know some rapid enthusiasts prefer the standard rapid but for me it saves messing about taking bottles off to fill them up. I’ve also had a few gsx100, basically a cylinder version of what you have and also a gsx600, a hft/target stock on a gsx100.

Cheers for the info, I'm glad I bought it truth be told, mind you my Rapid mk2 is pretty much as accurate as the GSX.
