What’s it worth hw97k

I bought a brand new Hw97k last week having shoot a hw100ks for many years but I can’t get on with it so it needs to go as I’ve found the weight too much for me. I have since bought a Bsa r10 se super carbine which I love!

My question is what’s a realistic and fair price to ask for it? It’s a 2022 made .177 in as new condition with shop receipt it doesn’t have a stock as I sold it to a friend who dropped his one and cracked it.

I have it listed elsewhere for £320 posted which I think is fair but I’ve still got a few stupid low ball offers of £200 so my question is £320 a fair price to ask?

I would say 225-250 without a stock, dont forget someone will have to shell out £100+ on a stock before they can use it.

But it's not new buddy

I just bought one 6 months old, excellent condition, £265 posted - check the sales, it was on here 2 weeks ago, I think £320 for action only puts it at around £450 with a stock added to it, and that is just too much when you can pick one up for close to that new.

There is no point in being defensive of it's price, you asked and have been given the answers, not that you like them, but they are right enough anyway

If it's not selling at what you have advertised it at, then hand on heart, you know it's too much, because these are a well sought after rifle and demand is high. Without trying to knock you down so to speak, stick it up at £250 and see how it goes, it will be there or there abouts, but I could equally see it going for just a bit less also, it's the market that will decide it's price

I bought the rifle as a Hw97k non thumbhole stock it cost £500 and I have seen Hw97k stocks on eBay for £100
