Evening Everyone,

I'm looking into at some point this year, potentially the beginning of next year, purchasing a Weihrauch HW110 Carbine, most likely in a .22 calibre so that I'm not having to buy two separate types of pellets, with me already having two .22 rifles.

I was hoping to get the opinions of said rifle from anyone on here who either owns this rifle or has used one themselves, both the pros and the cons, please.

Looking forward to reading your thoughts on the rifle.

Have a go with the search function. This question has come up many many times.

What I would say is there's no guarantee that the 110 will like the same pellets as your other .22 so don't let that limit you.

As others have said been a few threads recently about the HW110, so have a search 👍
I bought one at Christmas and have been very impressed especially at the price from Pellpax at the time. Great rifle and good value at the new lower price👌

Mine was in .22. Buy one used with the upgrades already done (AT removed and the hammer spring upgrade)

The soft touch stock does end up going sticky, you can pick up used (ex demo) stocks from Hull Cartridge. Options are occasionally a laminate like I managed to grab or a replacement ST.

Accuracy was great, sold it because of the cocking mechanism (my eldest couldn’t use it) and also the weight.

Beautiful looking rifle that mate! I've heard people say the carbine is really light, is this not the case?

It is but the rubberised stock is considerably lighter than the laminate one.You pays your money and takes your choice.

I think this is the one thing that could put me off it. I get over triple that from my Walther Rotex RM8 Varmint. Maybe it's something I need to just shoot myself, see how it feels. I'm sure that if I get that feel for it in person, then the shot count won't be a massive issue.

Yeah that’s it the cylinder is about 6” max so not bad considering but yeah if you need the shot count then it’s not for you. For me I can shoot 2 full cards reliably then fill with free air on tap right behind me at the club takes 30secs so no biggie for me you see but I think that might be the deciding factor for you there mate.

I have a 5L divers bottle that I can transport around with me, as well as the hand-pump, but I'd rather avoid the hand-pump, they're terrible! haha
 
Any reason for not looking at the full length rifle? Still a light gun and lots more shots, it's the one I'd go for

I’ll be honest, I didn’t know there as a HW110 in full length, I’ve only ever seen the carbine version as part of a kit. I’ll definitely look into it now that I know though! 🙌
