Hi team,
As you might guess from my username, one of my hobbies/sidelines is custom leather work (see some examples on Instagram @LockdownLeatherworks) and I've just returned to the world of air rifles after a break of around 40 years
. I picked up a Weihrauch HW100KT last week and the first thing I decide to do was design and make a holder for the normal magazines and fill probe for my own use.
On being seen at the local range people asked me to make a few of them. They are proving quite popular and as such I thought I'd offer them on here also.
Very different from others on the market, they are hand crafted from high quality multilayer veg tanned leather, hand dyed, hand saddle stitched with Tiger thread and hand finished. Closing with a traditional Sam Browne fastener rather than a modern press stud.
Being an original design, each one is made to order and can be customised. (Mine for instance has the HW100KT, initials and a rear card pocket for a club/3C insurance card)
Below are a couple of examples... The first is the one I made for myself.
The cost will range £35 to £40 plus post and packaging depending on customisation required. Not cheap, I know but a real piece of craftsmanship for the price of a couple of tubs of pellets.
Let me know what you think and if there's any interest.
Thanks,
Mark
