Vulcan 3 is like a shotgun

I've not had it long, but i must say i'm very disapointed with it. I have only tried barracuda 8's in it at the moment, and grouping at 30yrds is more like a £5 coin instead of a 5p coin.
I hope a different pellet will sort it, but i'm not holding my breath as i hear the cz barrels are very good and not that fussy.
Anybody else had problems with there's?

Check everything is tight, stock bolts, moderator etc.
Run through chrono, and check it's consistent. Pellet test.

Had a discussion recently with a RFD, where he mentioned issues similar to your own. Apparently there have been some barrel crowning issues, which only seem to manifest on the Vulcan.

Mine uses 9.57 h and n and 9.56 qys seems very accurate with these. Not tried anything else yet though

I would conduct the checks as above, and then check with differing pellets, if still no joy back to the RFD.

Yeh they are the ones to have. I met the head gunsmith from Edgar brothers jus before I got mine. Decent guy, I am sure they will sort it for you if need be. Just a ball ache having to send it back.

Yes i bought it new, and i cleaned the barrel as soon as i got it.

I would not be tempted to try anything. Take it back to the shop and get them to sort it out.

Less than 9 fps spread. I would think that is very good.

I would try just a few more pellets and if no better, then certainly take it back. They are not cheap and should be right.

My new Vulcan 3 "rocked" slightly in the stock,even when torqued.
