Voymir

He can delete as many negatives as he likes but the overall feedback percentage still stays on his profile & its dropping by the day.

I submitted a ticket with ebay 6 days ago and after the 6 day period ended today, I selected for them to get directly involved. Can't fault ebay on the promptness of the refund, money returned within 5 minutes.

Oh wow, I wondered why this thread kept popping up in the list,

so glad I went local RFD for my stock now, as for eBay feedback, I recently left negative for some thing I had bought as it was incorrectly advertised and within 24 hours it had disappeared from the sellers feedback so I think they can get it removed some how.

I made them refund me after they had my negative feedback removed. Evil bay!!!!

Remember eBay feedback is your overall experience with the seller not a product review. So even when I get sent overpriced tat or faulty items that I end up sending back I still leave positive feedback as long as seller communication is prompt and returns are processed. If you need to open a case and have eBay step in then the seller has failed to act reasonably.

Nobody likes being ignored especially when you have paid for the privilege.

THIS IS SPECULATION and nothing more:

I had a look through voymir's website. I've visited before or ordered anything through them but it struck me there is no VAT registration number displayed which I understood you have to do. Most websites have them clearly displayed on the About us, or lower banner or in the T&Cs. On Voymir - nothing. It may be on email receipts but as I said I've not ordered from them before. The lack of location and contact information always makes me a little suspicious of websites like this too.

I'll leave it there but if the prices have always been cheaper than elsewhere, this could be a reason why.
VAT number is on the invoices, not the site, though I always understood it to be a requirement, he does list his address, but it’s his former one, if he did indeed move and he still has a current VAT registration as discussed earlier. Price wise he has always been cheaper than others if buying in bulk.

My order from the 28th November was delivered (that's after all of the BF pellets were sold out - I bought some others) but my order from the 3rd December is still outstanding (that's when he 'restocked'). It depends on when the magic line is drawn as to whether anyone has received any pellets.
Yes I think this is the dividing line. I also had 20 tins of 10.34gr from the late November stock just before the low prices were posted on this forum and he rapidly ran out of the 300-odd that were advertised at that time. I was surprised to see how rapidly he "restocked", like, instantly, with 500+ tins and it seems all orders from that "restock" were never fulfilled.

If you see 1500 tins at an amazing price you are less likely to order there and then because “there’s plenty” , if you see 200 and they sell out in a day your more likely to order more next time you see another 200 get listed so you don’t miss out . It also stops a competitor simply buying all his stock in one go . Drip feeding his online stock numbers is simple but effective business and up until now and for many previous years it’s served him very well .

Where he / we are at now is very different though , not the Voymir I’ve used many times .

Thanks - it was just based on my observations. I've asked the mods to remove my post as I don't want to add fuel.

I think we’re well past the stage of worrying about adding fuel to the fire 😂

While in the early days the responses to feedback showed he was aware of the situation and online, it’s been a little too quiet for a little too long now. It turned into ‘The Great (non) Event of Christmas 2022!’ - that time when we all piled orders in at Voymir and he didn’t deliver so everyone got a refund without loosing a penny. I just hope whatever caused it was either worth it for him or nothing too serious in the overall scheme of things.

I still don't know how some are getting refunded straight away
Me either, it seems some of us are being told to wait for him to respond, others get immediate refunds. The only reason I could see was if there is some sort of PayPal monetary limit and the ones being refunded instantly were under a certain amount.

I have been on the phone with PayPal a while today.

Voymir has been given "Strikes" as a seller. Once you get enough of these the requested refunds that are either after a certain order date or under a certain amount get auto refunded instead of reviewed.

So my Dec 27th £32 order got auto refunded but I have to wait 10 days for my 7th / 15th Dec £100ish orders.

This is only for orders direct from his website. Not necessarily Ebay though that may be the same i havent confirmed that.

Though I have spoken to a supervisor who has escalated to another team who may be able to expedite this for me. Though that took an age and some stubbornness on my part.

Not to sure about that. Ordered 4 tins, so £43 something. Still got to wait for the 16th for him to respond to Paypal. ☹️
