Hi all.
I've been trying to find an app or online calculator. I'm wanting to know where my pellet/slug will land if I shoot at a certain angle up to a tree and miss . I've got some huge fields in my permissions. I just want to check that my pellet/slug will land in the same field that I'm shooting up to trees in. Now that I'm using a digital scope I get the shot angle on my scope.

Does anyone know of an available solution?

Cheers CP

Chairgun used to have the ability to input different angles, but from my own experience after losing CG on my old laptop, I've not been able to get another download
I now use Mero, but that doesn't have the facility

But, shooting into trees, with the possibility of a projectile travelling potentially hundreds of yards by missing or passthrough, is far from safe
I'd be looking to take shots with a safe backstop for sub12 and for FAC wouldn't even entertain the idea

It does, that's how I know my angle. But I'm wanting to know where my pellet will return back to earth from the shot
Chairgun App, available on Android phones ; it will give you, at least, a maximum distance based on pellet/ velocity @ an " optimum angle" + trajectory plots.

The Element Ballistic app will show you where your pellet will land. It’s free from the App Store and Google Play. Here’s a screenshot of one of my sub 12 rifles in .177

You’d need the muzzle velocity, mass, ballistic coefficient and wind direction/speed to calculate this with a reasonable degree of accuracy. It’s doable but open to all types of abuse.
