I can highly recommend the Apeman trail cam

I use the Apeman H45, simple to set up and use and very clear photo's or videos with long battery life.

Thanks for the reccomendation . so like I sed I know not much about them , is it a case of taking sd card out and then watching it ? Or is there live feed to phone or maybe Bluetooth ? Thanks

Mine just either plays back on the cam screen, or by removing the SD and using a suitable device to view.

Mine's a good few years old now so tech could be more advanced, so you need to check specs

Like everything, depends on how much you want to send. You can get them with a SIM card in that will send them to your phone. If I had a remote permission that is probably what I would invest in. However I’ve generally found it work well enough to have a camera with two SIM cards. One in the camera and one to take away and review. Or on occasion, take a laptop to review on site.

What I found is that the screens on the cameras are too small to see detail depending on what area you’re trying to observe through the camera. Hence using a laptop.

Hi I use a PH960 with a solar panel that has a 5 foot lead so it’s place south facing keeps the battery fully charged excellent pictures and videos great reliable unit and has built in Bluetooth and WiFi

I'd agree but also found with my Apeman, that it needed to be positioned pretty close with only the feeder in view. Anything much further away, it was triggered by any branches or leaves blowing.
Positioned suitably close, then enough detail is visible on the cam screen

Check out your TV. If it's got a usb port you may be able to view the card using a usb card reader.
