Been on the hunt for one of these for a while now, and will continue my quest.
My question is though, were these as good as people say out of the box, and why did they just stop production if they had such a good reputation?
Seems strange to stop making a gun held in such high regard

They shoot nice but the build quality isn't as good as a TX200 or 97k and the triggers aren't as good as a rekord or CD trigger but they can be massively improved. The 2 lgu's I owned has been tuned examples (one a SFS and the other a Tony leach 22mm setup & both had triggers tuned as well).
I personally would go for tx200 or 97k as parts for the lgu & lgv will become even harder to get hold of.

Very good gun very well made German quality, the same old song about the trigger being naff but they are extremely accurate Walther barrels the Lgvs are the same , only made between 2013 to 2018 so getting harder to get, keep looking they crop up now and then.

I managed to acquire a boxed LGV Main Pro .177 a while ago and I teamed it up with a compact Vortex Diamondback SP 1.5-6x32 and I love it so much so, I’m actively searching for a LGU MP.
Terrific air rifles which may become very desirable and sought after in the future.
My advice to all current owners is “keep yours” !!

Well done, I'm trying to convince people to part with theirs 😂

Looks like a LGU in 177 just popped up for sale in the sales section but sold within hours.

Yes i saw it early hours this morning. Gutted. Its looks like a decent one as well.

I have 2 LGUs, a .177 and .22. A Master Pro and .22 with synthetic stock.
I think they discontinued cause they were too expensive. They áre in the same league as AA or HW, I never bothered to fettle with the good triggers. But they just didnt have 'the name'. So too little marketing I think.

What you doing to me. @Ashf9999 stole the only LGU that's been for sale in the forum for a long while 😂 . What were you doing up at that ungodly hour for any way @Ashf9999 ? I was on the forum at 0300hrs. Now @yana is telling me he's got two, and one is a master pro😂.
Looked up a swear word in Dutch, but i shall refrain due to the fact i have had many wonderful nights in your capital. So i have been told.😉

Ultra competition and my LGU both Nick Gibney tuned in 177.
Now you're just twisting the knife. Both look wonderful. Look into my eyes, you don't need both of them you want to put one up for sale.

Yes, I’ve posted on here a few times. They’re on the shelf in basement, I know I’ve seen them and bought them. They’re not o his web page. Call him in the morning after 10 when he opens. Expect to pay £540 for a .177 beech stock, let me know how you get on.
