Hello everyone, firstly I would like to thank each and every one of you, as it’s all of you who help make this place so great.
We all come here for help, advice, and a general chat with like-minded members that are often more like friends and family than a lot of friends and family.
I, for one, know I have made some really great friends on here and look forward to meeting many more in the future.
So I would like to wish you all a very happy New Year and hope the coming year is a good one for you all.
In the new year, I hope to start travelling round the country more and going to some of your local clubs and visiting trade member shops on here, etc.
I will be in the Airgunforums mobile, which will hopefully be released soon into the new year.
To clarify, due to health, I’m winding down somewhat with work and am getting the sign writing taken off one of my vans and getting it re-done for the forum, hence the Airgunforums mobile.
This will be my new mode of transport for going to the shows and travelling round to try and see a few of you.
I also will, maybe if somewhat on route, be offering to do gun collection and delivery.
But here is the bit I’m sure a few of you will be interested in: the New Year’s Honours.
We, the Mod team, don’t pick these on a whim; we have been discussing this for weeks.
This year, we are pleased to announce the people being given the honorary title are as follows, in no particular order:
@Shaggy, who were sure many of you know and love; he is a true gentleman.
@Dr B, who does some great write-ups, etc., and is a great fellow (we did debate making him renounce .22 for it, but I was overruled).
@Jimmypie, a great member on the forum and a great representative for Crawley Surplus Store; the amount of help Jim and Crawley have given us over the years on the forum and at shows is above and beyond; we are really thankful.
