The National Shooting Show Saturday 10 - Sunday 11 May 2025 Yorkshire Event Centre

Got my free BASC ticket printed off.
A good day out imho.
If you are not a BASC member (with its benefit for shooting sports) then its worth joining for the free ticket.
Not sure but the game fair could also be free entry for BASC members.
 
Im undecided yet even with the free ticket --i went last year and it was a disappointment it was no where near the size of the year before--there was not any stalls with net making ferreting gear on-and where near as many stalls outside -- ok if you wanted a new tractor-quad bike-new 4x4!!!!!! or a expensive coffee and pie!!!!!!!!!

Interesting. I've been a regular at the North of England Woodworking show for a good number of years. Last couple have been a shadow of what it used to be, stall wise n visitors.
 
Traffic up here is a nightmare - maybe slightly kinder on a weekend - if you are coming up the A1, when you come off the A1 you still have a bit of a hike - get there as early as you can - my worst experience was the great yorkshire show - I abandoned it one year and even when I got the train it was still an epic journey - good luck!

Yes, nearly every road in Harrogate is getting repaired and it's an absolute nightmare getting around the place.☹️
If possible don't use Skipton road from New park as road works around dragon road are causing a lot of grief.
 
Also anyone coming from Leeds will get stuck at harewood if the roadworks are still on. It took me over 1/2 hour last Wednesday too get through them!
Small delays from Ripon also.
 
I have been every year since the start.
The first year or two were good.
In general it has got worse every year IMHO.
I think it was around 2 years back and walked into the first hall, seemed lots of vacant space and a "pie shop" confronted me.

Make sure you have plenty of freezer space!

Lets just hope it is ok..

Personally I think not as for a start they did away with holding the hft event there. Their greed basically on that one. I've seen a decline in stalls over the last few years and last year most of the outdoor food vans weren't there, we still go and enjoy it but I do think it's on the decline in general.

I am sure my brother used to get his nets from Redbeck Shooting Supplies and he rated them.
Its been a couple of years since i collected some for him but worth a try if you need some pal?
 
Sun's out guy's and I'm heading out to the show now.
Although I'm not sure wearing a T shirt with FOX written on it is the smartest idea at a shooting show 🤔

Thanks mate 👍 I make them it was supplies that I use ie rings twine etc

I do use a online retailer for stuff but nowt better than looking at new stuff and also any offers etc...thanks again
