Had a look at the motorbike show, Light but no quality, Ive got a Zontes 250 that I brought when I got a new hip and its better put together. Luckily, so's my hip. Getting stronger and need more horse power. I dont want a KTM 690 that's great weight but too much bhp.

Trying to look at or ride the Kove or the CF MOTO 450MT. Like finding rocking horse shit. The Triumph 400x is now available to test ride. Think its going to be my next stop. Im in no hurry as there are lots of new models and few long term tests.
Fantic 500 has a new engine. May arrive at the same time as the BMW 450GS.
A mate had these delivered yesterday.
Bought unseen in a local on line auction.
The white GS and the Triumph are now runners,although running a bit rough.
I reckon the Bonny will come right on its own with a few miles on it.
The GS needs a carb clean.

More Pics,Beamish, ex Jeff Smith Bulto, a cafe racer BMW I built years ago, my old Cotton Cougar scrambler I road registered, A Dot I got half built then broke it up to give the frame to a friend who broke the frame on the one his dad bought him as a kid,a 21 I didn't like,Guzzic 850, I got for a bag of nuts, back end howling, replacement would cost a young mortgage,got drive unit on bench book said beyond this point is out of the home mechanic's scope,my pal said it's buggered anyway, opened it up, the timken bearings were shot, replaced via bearing number, tightened by feel,Loctited threads, ran as smooth as silk, 441 BSA,great for white finger. Happy Days.

Nice bike, but, that back wheel just don't look nice, it's just sitting there, like it's not attached, bit EV, yeah I know it's the modern thing, but it looks gappy, like a front tooth missing on the face of an old friend, far too much space between wheel and seat, a nice set of traditional chromed dampers would look nice, full guard to, spray must be bad ?, swing arms, front looks good though, but I,m no expert, have not had bikes since my twenties, that was a while back , just me I guess ?.

Single sided swing arms will never not be cool, whether chain or shaft drive like my yacht on wheels
She's currently off the road while I do some major tinkering. She's 32k miles old now, still looks like new but she's showing her age in a few places but it's reliable as an Ox, so she's worth the investment in her long term health despite getting a little long in the tooth
