I think I can safely say that It's now sorted, the middle row and one to the left are 10 shot groups of different pellets at 30yds in a 15-20mph gusty wind the row on the right is a sighter.

It occurred to me that just in case you didn't bother to read the post (some obviously don't) and thought meh 5mt, it actually 30yds I'm finally happy anyway.

The Walther barrel does seem to like them, but it just as easily be a lull in the wind.

Tiz quite strange the lightest pellets came out best in the wind and the heavier are pretty rubbish in comparison Tricky .
for me the 8's are the only acceptable group even in a wind at 30yds .

My invite to try out our range still stands a very large bowl shaped depression in the ground creates some very strange effects, and sometimes I am not the steadiest shot.

and as you probably know i shoot in the wind all the time . tiz what shooting is all about .

I am afraid you haven't ever shot at this range as the Abbey range moved about 10 years ago from the Pentney site to Blackbourough End and the site is totally different the old site was pretty sheltered this one is not, just ask Warrenater on here as he among others shoot there, I also shoot in the wind all the time and still haven't learned to master the wind at this range and probably never will, so it's not an excuse its just fact, so I am pretty happy with those results, from the looks of your shooting site It's actually pretty sheltered and if I could shoot in my garden I could probably equal those results, in fact I put ten shots through this card at 25yds in my garden with the Epoch the lower one was the sighting shot.

Actually Tricky i shot there just last year when i was up there on holiday and the year before that . same as i shoot at foxcombe when im down in Pembroke. Then I would like to know just who gave you permission, as I run that range, and anyone who invites guests has to inform me first, So you're either BS ing or someone at our range is not adhering to the rules! Not impressed if this is the case! Can you confirm just where the range is that you claim to have attended, please?
I am not tenses mate I just find elitism a bit much, and for someone who claims not to be a willy waver, you post a lot of look what I can do shots fella, you're obviously a talented engineer and can shoot, but you ego is a bit full on.

Are you sure Tricky .....Or has some nicked your sweets Tricky .
You were the one who put another target up . I did this at 25yds with my Epoch .

Now every shooter on here knows heavier pellets should by rights be better in the wind so whats actually wrong with my comment ???
As for the range off mill drove . im not going to tell you . beside last time i was there . there were 3 blokes there . and when i asked is it ok if i shoot i was just told crack on . for all i know one of them could have been you .
As for willy waving Tricky. you really need to learn when someones having a laugh .

First off I very seldom put up any targets I have shot other than when I am testing a gun I am trying to sort I don't believe in boasting and I certainly don't believe in putting down other's efforts whether in gest or seriously as we are all here to enjoy the sport,
If you had read my original post properly you would have seen that I did say that it could have been down to me as well as the wind or that there was a lull in the wind when I shot the lighter pellets so the heavy pellets result could have just been odd full stop, but the whole purpose of the photo was just to illustrate that I was finally happy with the gun that had previously shot like a shotgun.

This I find hard to believe as a stranger would have been asked for his membership ID card, if this is i fact true then there needs to be a serious shake up as the whole idea is to prevent any tom, Dick or Harry just turning up and shooting, looks like there will now have to keep the gate locked all the time regardless! Can you describe the shooting hut and the facilities that you saw on your visit?

Yes I have invited you to shoot there several times, however I would have thought it was a common courtesy to inform me of your visit as it's not open to the public! And had there been nobody there, or they had challenged you as they are supposed to, you would never have got in! Would you be happy for me to turn up in your garden and start shooting? You are now being very pedantic and annoying and no i haven't lost my marbles, so far you have now caused me to have to email all the range members to remind them to be more security conscious, so thanks for that, I have no further wish to have to defend my remarks on this thread because of you persistent wind-ups, so I will request for the thread to be deleted as it now serves no further purpose, I have answered you in my DM, but you continue so enough is enough!

Actually Yes mate . a couple of my mates come and shoot in my garden as they havent got gardens . i know them and they are safe shooters.
