Test/Sample Chronographs - there's a catch

Hadn’t appreciated there were multiple sensors, but that makes sense. Are they opposing, as your image depicts?
Aside from cost implications, would a third sensor, each offset 120º help solve the detection issue? I’m presuming that’s where the problem lies.
There's a load of design work & simulations behind the setup..... <proprietary work>
5 emitters & 4 receivers - that's 10/8 in total (front/back) & gives a good detection area, cost, result.

I used to have a CHRONY chrony, was quite unreliable at times.
Next I bought one of those cheapo ones with a bare LED front and rear in a little cage, £15, never put a foot wrong, compared well to more expensive ones too, think it read about 1 fps high compared.

We're looking really good!
We'll start to get the units out next week - check your messages & i'll grab details from a few to send them out.

Note - we're doing functional testing, the appearance will NOT be anything like the final product (this is actually deliberate), and it'll come flat packed - so a few screws required.

Temp & Humidity sensors? Oooh… 😁
Gotta say, Nate, a lot of errors there! Is that deliberate too? 😜 🤣

some yes, bug with a few.

Its really, REALLY hard to get very accurate readings on 177 pellets, 22 are trivial, slugs are trivial.
The NateChrony's are just aware when something dont look quite right, so you know when a reading is a dud ;)

We're done & will be shipped this week...

Can I please get the people on the thread to put in an order:

I'll need the usual: Name, address, email, phone for customs etc. Can you also please put in your forum username

Is this for the final testing?
Yes - fully functional.
There may be some physical tweaks that comes out of the tests & other work, but they'll be able to be converted to the "final form" of the chronograph, after some sheet metal work & patent stuff gets done.
