The Super 10 had been laying in the sun all morning and yes it gets hot through patio doors even this time of year.

So over the chrono and a little too close for my liking, which is a shame as Superfield Ultra Heavys 18.8 straight from tin gave a fps spread of 8.2 fps over 10 shots.

Adjusted Huma reg and got the following -

517.0
521.4
521.8
522.0
519.1

Shots 1 - 5 gave 5 fps spread, excellent

Shots 2 - 4 gave 2.9 fps spread, outstanding

Rest of mag -

512.4
518.2
524.2
Xxxx
521.5

Over all 10 shots gave 11.8 fps spread which is fine and most spread was last 5, shame chrono didn't register shot 9.

Perhaps I was lucky with first 5 being close in weight.

So will sort and weigh pellets and test again tomorrow.

I have a new buddy bottle coming from Knibbs tomorrow so don't want to fill this old bottle to test from 180/190 bar which this old bottle was filled to, as about 100 shots in now after the weekend and old bottle needs to be emptied

Big 👍 for the new Huma.

Edit - additional.

Ftlb spread of 19g pellet

Low 11.08 ftlb to high 11.6 ftlb.

Seems huma have made the S10 a more desirable rifle as when I stripped the cigar tube/reg on my old one it wasn't fun to sort, good result 👍

I did make a little effort to rebuild the old cigar, but needed some more parts at which stage I ordered the Huma.

Tbh the availability of the Huma was only reason I bought the S10 which I had avoided till now.

The S10 is next level accurate with the Huma 👍

Yes the only flaw to me was the reg if a nice walnut MK3 pops up I may grab it now then huma is available.

another 👍from me for the huma reg,i have one in my ratworks tuned gamo phox,it's awsome, very consistent and very accurate.will never sell it👍.the jsb's phil did the testing with were just for power testing but were crap accuracy wise.Best results were trusty h&n's.Can't remember the fps spreads on them,i'll try do a chrony test at weekend.Wasn't as good as the jsb but are more accurate and don't fall into the jsb trap of getting different die numbers & batch numbers.

Fwiw an update after letting things settle in after new seals, hammer spring, new bottle and 20 mags run through it to do some more chrono fig's.

Straight from tin for both 10 shot mag -

Biz mags 21g max - 11.6 ftlb - 498.8 fps - 14.9 fps spread

Superfield Ultra Heavys max - 11.3 ftlb - 520 .2 fps - 6.7 fps spread

I'm very happy with this Huma reg setting to make Superfield Ultra Heavys my go to with 6.7 fps spread straight from tin and ftlb between 11.1 and 11.3 👍

What's the spread over a usable fill?

Haven't done one yet, that's a lot of sitting at the chrono and a 200cc bottle at 232 bar gives 200 - 230. Lol.

I rarely use more than a mag when out hunting so that's my guide and this was the 3rd mag in from a 180/90 fill.

But being a Huma reg it shouldn't change much 👍

I don't blame you not wanting to sit around firing off 200 odd shots. As a springer shooter I forget these things. (y)
