As per title, when you have a few bits n pieces you want a neat way to store your chrony, have you considered doing a box with a few sections for adaptors/bigger cable/battery etc.......?

I'm sure most of us end up buying something suitable somewhere, here are a couple of examples, but a dedicated box from yourself would be ideal Shrug tt

I agree something to keep everything together would definitely sell whether that be a hard box or a purpose made bag. I’m just about to message @LostinTransit for a custom pouch

(not sure its a q for me - but i'll answer if it is.... also - if you find some
I kinda went the other way... making the chrony silly durable so that it doesnt need a special/bulky/expensive case for it.
ref the testing here:

It has a soft carry pouch & should be perfectly fine to sit at the bottom of the range box, rattling around without getting damaged.

Me supplying a separate hard case? a bit of a pain to be honest
* it would just be me importing something from China & re-selling/shipping at a markup (not adding any value)
* it'd take up a load of space on my premesis
* it'd take up a load of space at retailers (this is a really bad thing)
* adds cost
* adds options that i have to maintain on a sites
* i'd need different boxing options - so i have to stock a lot more boxing at my premesis

Probably the biggest issue would be increased shipping size - if it increases the box size the Chrony comes in, it'll blow out the shipping costs a bit as the shipping box would be considerably larger & is air freighted.

I try & keep everything as minimal & cheap as possible & people can order stuff of an online marketplace as they need to.

As the post was in this section, Nate, it’s a given that it was directed at yourself.

On the value add aspect, we’re well aware of product specific packaging being it’s own added value, and likely acquired in volume from a Chinese manufacturer, with or without custom branding applied.
A prime example would be the plastic or fabric cases that forms part of the overall cost of the new rifle you’ve just purchased.

Regarding lack of space at your premises, and I’m going to presume this is where the OP was going with his query… you wouldn’t require any additional square footage taken up if you used the storage container as the item which ships and sits on the retailers’ shelves, and is similarly sized to how the product is sent out currently in its cardboard box.
All you would need is a sleeve over the container.

Assuming it adds £10 or so, by the time profit margins have been added on, so what? It’s a Natechrony branded carry case, which we can’t buy from Aliexpress because it doesn’t exist.

I’m somewhat surprised you haven’t already done this, since the case would serve as additional marketing material if customised with your logo/branding. Food for thought, hopefully. 😉

To cut Nate a bit of slack i think he’s just trying to get a good product “which it is” out onto the market as cheaply as possible passing any savings onto the consumer

a proper case would be nice but also like he says he has to post it from the other side of the planet but then again packing it all together is a good shout

No - this is the place to hassle the ba-jeebus outta me & push me for more.
The worst thing is someone uploading a video having a whinge & not reaching out to me at all. This is the section to nag/whinge/complain/politely request!

Branding - I got a quote for putting my logo on the powder coated aluminium covers, it would triple the cost of the covers!!!
I'll get some cases in & see what we can do.
Much appreciated for the suggestion & giving me a nudge to do more.

Marketing - meh, i'm 100% focused on making better & more accurate/useful products with more features.
Its a me thing & its a shortcoming - good call & feedback.

Space - i'll have to have boxes of these stacked up before packing, this is space issue. It keeps growing & growing!

I know I am late to the party but I have just bought the attached case from AliExpress UK for £5.93 delivered from China!Case 1.jpgCase 2.jpg
If you want a more robust case for your Natechrony this could be the one. The description is "New Electronics Accessories DIY Storage Bag Hard Shell Large Capacity for Gopro Camera HDD Multifunctional Travel Organizer Case" Size Small
The foam interior is easy pluck
