Snowpeak ap900 looks nice for the money

The .25 is a ten shot magazine. I’m looking at one right now . It’s the same as the .22

That's good then. I definitely read 9 in .25 when I posted that before, and it has it as 9 on Redbeck and Vector Air, but can't argue with someone with a magazine in front of them 🤣

That twang will go when you change the hammer spring. We all had the same noise. And once you've had the sweet and sour snowpeak, no more kebabs...
Ah, but you can easily get more bits for Kebabs, try that with your pot noodle 😂😂

I’m not anti SP far from it, it’s because Ive just suffered how owners are stopped from repairing / maintaining their purchase once the warranty has gone 😉

Hi guys, just had an email from Pellpax with some new upcoming air rifles, I think the snowpeak ap900 looks very good for the price. Probably be a great light little starter rifle.
Just paid the deposit on one in .177! Got other PCPs but at that price why not! Gen3 with regulator!

Well my pot noodle has just claimed rat no2. This particularly brazen rodent was walking around the pond, in broad daylight, only 5 metres from the patio door. Must have been suicidal.

I've stripped mine down in readiness for the obligatory mods and it was plain sailing until I came to the pivot pin for the side lever. The 2mm Allen key wouldn't touch it and started to round off the corners so I used a Torx driver (T-9?) instead which did the trick. Also, the rear plate was a right pig to prise free as it seemed overly snug in the breech block, but it did eventually come free without any damage. The barrel was absolutely filthy as in jeffsky's video, as was the hammer and spring assembly, but it's all cleaned up nicely. From previous posters experience with a .22 I'll try a 2.5 TP with a 1.6mm spring and start with the reg at half a turn in and see what's what. I'd sooner start low and increase the output rather than the other way round.
Just need the postie to deliver the bits and bobs now and it'll be happy testing days. 🍿

I've been so impress with the .177 I bought last week that I've just picked up a .22 to go with it.......had to pay £340 for the .22 after paying £295 for the .177 but they did throw in a tin of pellets as I don't have any .22.

Barrels cleaned, regs turned down, 1.6mm hammer springs and weaker trigger springs fitted on both along with dying the cheek piece and front fore grips but other than a couple of shots in the garden I haven't been able to get out do any accuracy and power testing yet but hopefully I can get started tomorrow after fitting a DNT Zulus NV scope I've just bought off a member on here on the .22 with the .177 fitted with a 3-12x44 MTC Copperhead.

Having not really used .22 cal for a few years, what pellets have been found to be good for it?

A scope ring or anything else picatinny fitting clamped to the rear plate will make it easier to remove

50cm is what I had in my phone notes when I was looking for cases. But that's to the heel of the pistol grip as it extends beyond the rear of the pic section
That’s interesting because there’s a large swell of opinion on this forum (not shared by me) that the law would interpret that as an illegal air pistol, being able to be fired whilst being shorter than 60cm.

Think we've already had that discussion a few pages ago. It's for sale in the UK as a rifle n bought as such
