This is my 1958 brno 581.
Recoil pad to increase lop. Hawke rimfire scope. I'll lucky you have 3 mags for it.
The previous owner had the barbell shorten. Looks okay with a slim moderator on it.
Thanks I went for a small scope. I feel like some of the modern bins look a bit much for the older guns. That's a bonny looking sporting rifle![]()
Great rifles, I had a CZ511 for years. Easy to strip down and all steel and walnut.View attachment 952136

The trigger isn't easiest to strip on the 581 tbh.Great rifles, I had a CZ511 for years. Easy to strip down and all steel and walnut.
Not a trigger for the layman to mess with. Very easy to end up with a full autoThe trigger isn't easiest to strip on the 581 tbh.
Definitely not a gun with a lot of plastic in!
Now that a bit of Sexy right there !Looking a bit different now courtesy of @One on top of two answering my Wanted ad with his GRS Bifrost. Made a huge difference. Britannia pic rail added now that I can adjust the cheek riser, but will be changing the scope at some point as the eye relief isn't the best.

CZ 455 American
I wanted a no frills reliable bolt action and they were selling these off cheap, since they've now been replaced by the 457.
I was a little disapointed to learn the mag wells were now plastic so before I even fired it I replaced it with a Position 7 unit.
Other additions, Sak mod, Jap made Tasco SS 10x42 and Harris bipod.

Nothing wrong with a 452. inch had a 452 Vaemint for years.
They are tough, reliable scopes with clear glass but they do make lightweight rifles feel a bit top heavy. How have you got on with the Burris? They make good scopes.A question: what are your thoughts on the scope?
I’m thinking of getting an SWFA 10x42, the modern version.
