Show us your guitars and other instruments

Yeah it's a florentine cut. Best way to describe it is that an es175 and a les Paul had a baby. It was originally one of their cheaper guitars, but they discontinued them in the late 2010's and finding a nice one now would be quite expensive, I think it was about £1300 when I bought it new back in 2010.
It was also some of the last stuff to leave the memphis factory as that closed down later in the decade.

Nice christmas present from the wife

And recently bought a very cheap guitar to practice fret levelling, its a yamaha pacifica that now has a very good fret job, reason i wanted to get into diy luthier jobs was i sent my fender strat (black one in first picture) to a luthier for a refret and it wasnt exactly great despite being highly recommended, so thought if i wanted something doing properly id do it myself, the specialist tools arent cheap or mega expensive but for the cost of another refret and a few setups i have these tools for a very long time.
Noice!!!🤤🤤👍🏾👍🏾

I've got a 2012 Gibson 339 Memphis in Cherry, a great guitar in all respects but it rarely gets used as I just can't bond with it. I used to enjoy playing it at higher volume in rehearsal studios and guitar groups but much prefer my teles and Strat now that I only ever play at home. However the 339 appears to be steadily gaining in value so I shall probably keep it for now as I know I'd soon regret parting with it. Been down that particular road before.

I remember those when they brought them out, like a mini es335. Also remember a very short period around those years when they were selling es330's for £1800. I wish I had the money to pick one up, but as you could imagine they were all very quickly sold.

Studio Musician?
Not done anything in the studio for 9 months+pal. Got myself a little studio built at home now since having the house extended,so get a few mates round to do a bit with a few beers once a month.Think the days of session playing is fading out slowly, unless its my age and the difference in bands now.

Totally carp is like me now with the arthritis in my hands.
Hey, but you enjoy them, and that's all that matters. ;)

Guitars, Guns, Watches and Motorcycles are art to me, I find them aesthetically and mechanically interesting and beautiful, I don't have works of art or ornaments in my house. But as far as playing guitar goes, I have no excuses, I'm really really awful 😬

Well, it looks like you've got plenty for you and your neighbours to enjoy 🤣

You don't have to be a musical genius to enjoy guitars and gear, just as you don't have to be a crack shot to enjoy your shooting ✌🏻
