Ahoy .
In my user department, my settings menu doesnt work . I'm guessing that's where i can turn on the smilies and wot not .
Every thing is in grey on the bar just above here where I'm typing
 
At the top of the page is the main menu bar. On that is my status of being logged in. I click on my name which opens a window. In that I click preferences.

Is that to what you refer as settings?

Yeah kindof Mr From Sandy .

If I go to that preferences page , over on the left side is a menu . 5 th category down is settings and it dont work
 
Isn't settings just the subtitle for the items below it?

Ah that settings thing dont light up on stb either but the tool bar thingy is not greyed out like it is here .

Ive actually no clue what i'm talking about . can you tell ?
 
Well I have made a career out of not knowing, I don't know stuff about a wide range of subjects.

For the greyed out toolbar, is this while you are editing a post, not while it is in 'preview'.

if I'm composing or editing
 
I wonder if it is a browser blocking cookies, not able to save preferences.
 
dunno what that means but it works on stb .

Aha ..ive had an idea Ill ask rob . hang on
