Hello guys an gals, is there a low cost scope mounted small torch/light that i can fit to my 2250b rat gun, i have a rat problem in my garden and could do with shedding a little light on the target, thanks in advance

Check ebay for offerings under red torch light. Don't get a white torch as they will scatter when you switch it on but they will wise up to a red torch light after a while.

Something like this will do you fine for short range rats have used one for years and shot hundreds of rats with it.

And use one of these to attach it to your scope and away you go - watch out Roland Rat

Haven't used one in decades but you used to be able to buy a Maglite mount for mounting one of the Maglite AA torches on top of a scope. Very cheap and easy to fit so that is an option but there are probably better options nowadays.

Just found this in a drawer red beam that makes a nice red circle about 3 foot diameter at 10-12 yards not too bright just need to find a way to fit it to the crosman 2250 the torch is 93mm long and around 18mm diameter

To then find out they don't use the cellophane wrappers any more , They stopped using them in 2022 and use waxed paper now.

Another vote for AliExpress. I paid something like £8 delivered for a high power red lamp with rat tail switch, mount, and battery incl charger. It's really bright and perfect for 20-30 meter range.
