My mate just bought a Myth and whist testing it I noticed a small , what looks like a snap off grub screw just foreward of the trigger , on the right hand side . Anyone know what it,s for ? There,s also three of these snap off grubscrews provided with the rifle . I just wondered what they,re for . The rifle came filled to almost 250 bar and , at that pressure is putting out 10-10.2 fpe. Am I right in assuming the sweet spot should come in at aroung 190 Bar ? And , I have to say , it,s very accurate . Perfect for ratting , which is what it will be used for .

If you mean just in front of the trigger in the bottom of the block with the stock removed then it's probably the anti tamper screw for the valve , should be another normal grub screw nearby ?

I haven,t removed the stock - no need to . It,s a small screw , foreward of the trigger on the right side . It looks to be far too low in the action to have anything to do with the valve . I,m not touching it , i,m just curious as to what it,s for .

Whereabouts ?

Nowhere on that pic . My mate,s is a synthetic model . I,m starting to think it could be a bleed screw .

I bought a Myth yesterday and I was wondering what they are for too.
The parts diagram in the manual says its a ball point set screw, which I suppose it is.
Ive still no idea what it does

Ok if its ball point, then it is most likey for bleeding? No manual with the gun??

On the synthectic stock it protrudes into the spare mag holder void but does'nt seem to achieve anything
screw in or out the spare mag still holds in place

Is it providing a detent for that small hole in the magazine? To lock it more in place?
