Reximex Mito Thoughts?

Modified the case slightly with a piece of foam to accommodate the red dot sight

Not got a Chrono as yet, but dropped pressure to 150 bar during set up and still plenty of power.

Understood. I only asked as you mentioned that you were underwhelmed by the power until I’d put about a 100 pellets through it?

I’ve just bought a mito to start 10m target shooting with, I’ve upgraded the sights and added a single shot magazine, tried a few shots in the garden but really need to get it dialed in on Monday night at my local club. Overall happy with it now, just need to change the trigger springs I think

Ive just bought the same single shot magazine 👍 I’ll give it a try this weekend. Great pistol, I took it to a local range in the week and only picked up my HW100 for a couple of minutes! Having much more fun with the Mito

I found the cocking lever was a little tight when loading with the single shot mag but it’s hit and miss, sometimes it’s ok, I imagine the alignment is ever so slightly off. Still huge improvement over the standard single shot tray/mag

The matt black finish shows every mark, fingerprint and oil stain. Not the gun’s best feature.

Agreed, and I think the factory sprayed finish is a little thin.

Does anyone have the silver version? Is it nickel plated, and what is rhe uniformity of the finish like?

Not tried it yet as been busy fixing a water leak 🤦‍♂️ I agree with other comments on the finish, not the best coating but I’m trying to overlook that as the gun has been very accurate

I did the spring change a couple of weeks ago. And it does make quite the difference.
One thing though. The first image is what I uncovered when I removed the trigger guard and the second is an image I lifted off of the net (can’t remember where - good chance it was on this forum to guide me).
Check that original spring position out :)

Can I ask where the replacement springs are purchased from please? Does it make the trigger a lot lighter? Thanks

I’m not too sure if I am allowed to directly link to the seller on eBay (I am not the seller). But if you search Compression Spring Small Various Sizes Up To 10mm Diameter Pressure Compressed and choose a 4mmx15mm 4mmx8mm both 0.4mm you will be good.
YouTube also has at least 2 tutorials how to do it.
And yes it does make it lighter.

Brilliant. Thanks 👍

I’ve never used the mags so can’t comment on them. I’ve only ever used BobPs single pellet loader (it and his sights came before I picked the pistol up).

The only problem I had was with the original mags. They can be a pain to load into the pistol.
Yes, they’re not the best! A bit fiddly to get in and are not the strongest looking magazines. Compared to my HW100 magazines the Mito’s look like they belong in a toy. They’re ok once in place

I’ve been looking for springs too. I’ll take a look at these thanks

Felt left out a bit on the walnut grip, so ordered.
The fit is ok but not a surgical match, natural material at the end of the day, but think I will open up the holes a teeny bit in the wood to align better. I've got a Pretensis and noted how dry the walnut is, same with the Mito grip, so will give it a good going over with Ballistol.

I've got medium to big hands and the walnut grip is much nicer to handle for me.
