With the Lyra and Lyra k getting such good reviews and results, I would expect this to be a popular little bullpup, what do you guys think?

Looks alright but its a shame the barrel threading isn't past the tank, going to mean you have to keep to the barrel dimensions.

That rail is floating quite far out too, not sure if that really matters at air rifle distances though.

Trigger mech, if standard Lyra, with an extra linkage is not likely to have been improved by it.

Cheek real estate looks a bit scant.

looks like a cometa orion bullpup, and they were 💩 🙈

I would not bet against Reximex getting this right, given the success of the two other versions of the Lyra. The Lyra K had to overcome being a real ugly rifle but was so good it did!

Looks like a little Benjamin Akela 👍

I’m sure it will be a tidy pesting tool especially in .25 😎
This.

The Lyra (K) and Akela share the same action, the cylinder on the Akela sits a little lower than the Lyra.

Things I dislike on the Akela, seem to have been just brought forward to this.
The 'connected only at the back' scope rail, that can resonate like tuning fork, the trigger link that relies on the action cylinder mounting bands, being rock solid (but they aren't, as delivered), the cheap shonky shroud.
I assume it is shorter than the Akela, so the resonant frequency might be less intrusive (depending on scopes) but they had a perfect opportunity to review the build of the Akela and, by the look of it, have just reused old bits in a new stock, with some parts shortened.

I like Reximex, they are capable of making good airguns, I'm just not sure this is going to be one.
Which is a shame as for a bit of revision on the scope rail and cylinder clamp area, this stock and beef up the trigger method it could be great.

My comment was purely visually linking them, but I genuinely had no issues with either of my Akela’s rails or the clamp design as that mimics the Kalibrgun clamp design I thought, Ive chucked and bashed one long term Akela around my perms for a few years and not had any issues with scopes vibrating or losing zero, perhaps it’s because I use small hunting scopes

This little Lyra looks like it will be a good option for pest control, vehicle and close quarter use.

I remember your success with the Akela, and wanted to like mine, but never quite got the consistent accuracy I thought the barrel and gun was capable of.
When firing the gun with some scopes on, the sight image moved like a springer, post shot, if the gun was tapped the resonance was obvious and just could not put faith in a gun that made that sort of boing.
The trigger link could be sorted but as the bands on mine were not biting down I had to pack them out, then get to adjusting the link to be exactly right, just too much interplay.
I did buy some motorbike steering damper clamps to try and build another rail support, removed the shroud and used a barrel band on to a machined moderator, it is getting more solid but it would, in be simpler with a solid top-to-bottom mount like many other bullpups use (see Artemis P15), that cantilever thing looks good but moves the whole stability on to a small contact area and two screws, I can't see the sense in it.
If someone did a replacement set of metal scope rails, to drop the cantilever, I'd be up for one.

I think the cylinder/block/barrel/side lever looks very much like a kral puncher breaker. I would guess it has the same shot count etc. looks like you’d need a tapered mod (weihrauch?) too

Looks OK, but I dislike it when a manufacturer stuffs a 'standard' gun into a bullpup stock and does nothing about moving the cocking lever forward.
My thoughts too - I like bullpups but would never buy one that had the lever at the back. Especially if you are a right-hander who likes left-handed cocking on a bullpup.

Looks like a lovely gun - but I much prefer the tac look for a Bullpup and the weight saving.
