Picked this up in a charity shop at the weekend, the 2mm thick plastic held out valiantly against the mighty power of my recently aquired ZM17 spring airsoft pistol. However the plastic has succumbed and i am now looking to reinforce the targets. Needs to be lightweight and preferably take the sting out of the bb so reduces ricochets (this is solely for indoor plinking). Rubber or carpet maybe?

I just use cardboard from packaging or food packets I usually have loads as I will cut the cardboard to size when I’m not doing much else.
They don’t last that long but they are free and do keep my targets still and tight in my target holder.

So turns out from testing a variety of materials, weight is crucial as much more that the weight of a felt pad stops the target going over. So far eva foam and felt ricochets too much, will try disposable cardboard next. Think rubber will be too heavy, but willing to try.

I think those targets were for "Nerf" bullets originally, so rubber may add to much weight

I gave up with these reactive targets, too many ricochets regardless of what i covered them in.
