Im really pleased with it. I tried one a few years back. Must have been the Gen 2 version and it was awful. Really slow recovery.
When I say 55 bar, I set it as close as possible. Currently sitting on 54.84 bar after a week of no use. Recovery rate is far better than the Amp Reg that I had although that wasnt too bad.
I did remove the bottle a couple of weeks ago to fit a new seal and didnt degass the gun. Found the 1st reg must have stuck open and was reading 240 bar. The Huma reg did go up to 60 bar. Took the bottle off, degassed it and refitted the bottle and all returned to normal.
I think if the Huma Reg is fitted properly with the 10 washers instead of 12 like I first did it, it works more like an on off switch and seals really well.
I must confess that i purchased a Huma mk3 one ,took a month to arrive ,got my AMP mk2 working perfectly by then lol

,became a expert @ fitting & fiddling with that reg ,and once @ set point the FX AMP it did not move !
The Huma i had to fit as it cost over

,no need really for it ,but i installed it into my Crown !
So it was very interesting what you have experienced so far ,had mine for over a month fitted now !
My experience is that it’s that it’s nicely made ,machining of the threads of the housing /body is clean and even ,the piston is made of brass ,well finished ,not sure why the body is alloy ,but is soft ,so you have to be carful of installation as a screw driver can easy turn the edges up !
The valve disc’s save time ,no polishing required of the piston ,so a easy install !
Not sure on there washer stack ,as i alway used ()()()()() ,but installed as )()()()()( as per there instructions /illustration !
How it works perfectly…. FPS are extremely consistent ,the only thing i have noticed is (why i asked ) with more bottle pressure the reg gauge will rise a little ,2-5 bar depending how much i fill !
The FPS remains the same ,sure i read somewhere this is normal with Huma regs !
One other thing i observed was after degassing the plenum & bottle off ,i was surprised when removing the set screw ,it still had air /pressure ,something the AMP never did
Yes i think all is good ,but i don’t think it’s any better than a proper set up AMP mk2 ,just a little different lol
