Recommendations for a lightweight pcp for my wife please.

Brocock Contour or Concept.
Single shot version probably best.
This. I have both single shot and multi shot variants as well as an S510. THe smaller and lighter frames of the Brococks are ideal for women or mid teen kids. They are unbelievably accurate as well and dead easy to work on.

🤔 Mmm!
If she is with you at the range, your tea wont be on the table when you get home!
Not to mention the ironing, washing, dusting etc!
I would recommend Chocolates and flowers, much cheaper option😝😝😝
She says I live in the 70's, I'll see you there 😂

Hw110. As stated above not a well liked rifle in the 2nd hand game but it’s a lovely lightweight. Let me know if this is an option and I’ll list one.

FX DRS (any version that suits)
AirMaks Katran
AGT Vixen

They're all at the top end of your budget though. 🙂

A lot of specific recommendations, so I will go with some more general advice.

If you currently have a preferred rifle e.g. Weirauch or Air Arms, then a lighter version of the same rifle. Because you will have familiarity with it and can advise on how to get the best from it.

I would recommend multishot PCP over anything else, with a preference for biathlon type lever over a bolt action. I find this easier on the fingers when target shooting 50+ pellets.

Fx Wildcat, Airmaks Katran, Artemis p15.
I've got the first 2 and they're superb. I've never shot a P15 only shouldered it. It weighs next to nought and gets good reviews, if you get a good one.

BSA ultra CLX, it must be good my wife stole mine, on the plus side she won’t touch my new R12 CLX, it’s too heavy and we can share magazines. On the minus side the accessories fit both so she keeps grabbing the lighter ones including my brand new carbon fibre bipod

From experience, if you yourself are using some classy, upmarket equipment, then your partner is unlikely to want to accept something from the "bargain basement" if/when they become seriously interested in the sport.

Be prepared to spend some money.

The Ultra is always a good bet apart from the shot count, that's the pay off, other than that the AA S400 superlite is also very good with an increase in shots.
I was after a really lightweight pcp a few years ago and nearly bought an FX Dreamline lite with rhe carbine bottle, but I think they're £1100 now, maybe secondhand is better as you also won't lose money.

There really is no substitute for visiting a well stocked shop so your wife can hold and shoulder a few different makes and models. Weight, balance, stock size, shape and style will all play a part in her choice
