Had a few hours with the s510 and thermal scope.

I tried the bisley pest control in 177. One hole at 15yards. Ok not competition shooting. But the rats are only 10-18yards away. So no need check any further than that. The bisley pellets were certainly hitting them hard.

Top job matey. I was given a large bag of mixed maize. My old hen shed is full of rats (no hens anymore). You simply cannot have better sport from your own kitchen window at 28 yards. I'm certain a dead rat is like a class A drug to a fox, they love them.

Excuse my ignorance, it just seems so many - what does he do with them? I'm assuming they can't be used as pig food or anything, so I wondered if they were buried or incinerated.
