In terms of the Members Manufactured section - those tinkerers and manufacturers make a significant contribution to 'the community' by offering otherwise unobtainable services, expertise and products at silly cheap prices most of the time.

I can see how this was taken by Hal.

He contributes very meaningful posts about working on airguns. His write ups are superb, no other word. It could of come accross a little insulting even if it wasn't intended to be and wasn't aimed at him directly. No one can say he isn't a part of the community.

Mods, please reach out to Hal? He will be missed.

Some in the members made section rarely post in other sections of the forum.
Some have nothing else on the forum other than promoting their services .

Hal did contribute with threads and so on.

Gentlemen…..

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who have visited my Tinkering Thread since the AFG 2 re-start as well as posting comments and requesting me to make stuff and help you out as and where I have been able to.

You have been more than gracious in saying a few kind words about the projects that I have been involved in as well as saying that I am a “decent bloke”.

I have been fortunate enough to have spoken with, met with and befriended so many of you and for that I am truly grateful.
