Picatinny rail on Weihrauch Springer

Anyone put a picatinny rail on a Weihrauch Springer?

I don't like the look with high mounts and a 50mm scope. Was thinking a rail with some low profile pic mounts would help fill the void and also be pretty practical going forward.

I'm not looking to go one piece dovetail mount for now.
 
Got a 200mm eagle vision one on my hw97, doesn't budge what so ever, try get the biggest you can has more screws in the side to secure it as there recoil can move mounts, going forward im done with dove tail, my hw95 had dove tail mounts on and the arrestor screw has dug into the steel on the gun making it unsightly and very sharp

I also need one with some reach forward for a Cometa Fusion that has the shortest dovetail grooves known to man. (Well they are too short for a larger scope anyway :-))
 
yes, but a slightly different approach using the Hawke (or equivalents) two piece weaver mounts. These clamp and torque onto the dovetail and don’t creep as the pic rings squash them on even more. I believe a very good solution.
This is the solution used on 97 and 90.

Are these ok on a 11mm dovetail? Do you have to really tighten them down?
I think I was looking at these yesterday and they only state for 3/8.

Which rings are these? Is that a 42mm scope?

Trying to figure out measurements if going with those adapters.

The best solution - Eaglevision picatinny is superb, low profile and the side-securing screws mean a secure fix without marking the action. Got one on my HW100T, if I could afford it I would have one on each rifle.

I've recently purchased a HW97KT & Hawke scope. I've not fitted the scope yet but joined AGF this morning, looking for a bit if info & it sounds like the Hawke match mounts that were thrown in as part of the deal probably aren't the best around, especially for a springer.

I've had no experience of Picatinny rails before but your set up looks like what I'm after.

I've seen the 200mm Eagle Vision Dovetail to Picatinny adaptors for sale but there isn't much info on it fitted to a HW97. Someone replied to my post this morning & mentioned that they may need modifying to fit.

The 200mm adaptor looks to fit pretty well on your rifle. Is it a set up that you are still using and would recommend?

Any help would be appreciated.

plus one for the eaglevisioncam I used one on my HW77 and it was rock solid. They're my go to for dovetail to picatinny adapter. Excellent quality and good price.

Hello, they fit perfectly, iv since moved to 150mm with a stopper on the back and it's like cement now, plus the 150mm is a bit cheaper, hope this helps
