Pellpax

I’ve just received my third rifle from them in two years and no issues and always fantastic price 👍 did chat to the driver yesterday and he said they deliver between 600 and 800 guns per week 😅 so gonna be issues now and again but I’ll keep using them
Hello, Sounds good, What did you buy, That is a lot of Rifles and maybe a few shotguns, Even now not on the AGF they still look as though they are selling well, Only wish they were closer

I've bought guns from them and not had any issues at all. I had to return one because I could not get the CO2 cover off and they came and collected it free of charge. The delivery guy had a go failed and took the gun away and I received a refund on request. Recently bought some QYS Streamlined pellets because they were the cheapest but delivery was not very fast.

Bit of an oddball the lieva but at £309 delivered to my door couldn’t resist 😅 let the tuning begin 👍

Maybe AGF membership wasn’t doing them any good is what I think you’re saying in a round about way ?
I’m not saying that at all. I personally had no issues with the service I received, but others did. The mods gave their reasoning which sounded fair enough. Whilst Ross did help resolve issues via the AGF, there seemed to be an awful lot of them, which weren’t necessarily handled that well by the shop, it would seem.

Speaking to others it seems the most vexing issue is that their website shows items in stock and they are not, they take the payment and then order the items, this then starts the issues when the customer starts chasing delivery and find out what the score is become understandably annoyed.

Bought a second hand PCP. Delivered over legal limit and leaking. Assured they thoroughly check trade in guns. and the over 12ft lb was the fault of my pellets (JSB's). Sent back. Messed about over what was going on with the gun, then it was sent on to Range Right. 5 weeks later after multiple conflicting excuses as to where the gun was and when it was due back finally got an impersonal text message on Tuesday saying it was awaiting routing to come back to me. Got excited then found out it's NOT coming back this week... its coming back NEXT week. So SIX weeks to tweak the tuning (which should have been done before it was sent out) and fix a small leak (again, should have been found before it was sent out). So no, not had a great experience.

I sent Ross a message regarding a pistol I purchased from them a few days ago, no reply after a couple of days, ended up ringing them and managed to get through after a few attempts. The lad that answered arranged a courier to collect the pistol and it got picked up on the day (but later than expected).

Received an email a couple or 3 days ago that looked like an invoice but with no outstanding fee? I phoned them twice on Tuesday but got a message stating that their lines were down so I emailed them, still no reply??

I wonder if it's down to limited staff numbers that things are upside down for them, if so, they really need to sort things out as people tend to start shopping elsewhere regardless if it's a bit pricier than Pellpax.

I had the same when I returned a pistol. I spoke with one of the sales team at the time, and they advised me that the system creates an order per action, which oddly looks like an invoice.

It does look that way i.e. staffing issues, which if they're not careful/don't act upon soon, could do them irreparable damage.

Personally I'd use them again but they do not to get on top of whatever it is that's causing them these setbacks.

Just an update on my simple pellet order, as I've finally recieved a package from Pellpax today, timeline has been...
  • Ordered late on 3/3/26
  • <Nothing happens>
  • Called on 7/3/26 to chase as we're already 3 working days into the 2-3 day delivery process - not dispatched, but everything in stock, estimated shipping date given 10/3 which would be 5 whole working days after submitting the order.
  • Called again 12/3 as no dispatch notice or tracking details still - phones down for "maintenance".
  • Called again 13/3 AM - phones still down
  • Recieved package 13/3 Noon - missing 1 item
  • Called again 13/3 Noon - phones still down

Emailed just now to find out what the Sam Hill is going on.

"2-3 days" my backside! Was a week before an employee took 80% of my order from the shelf and got it into packaging!
