Pellpax

Oh great, I've just given them money for an order 🙄
They are trading and are fine. This is purely their trader status on this forum. You can still contact Ross on here if things go wrong - personally in approaching a dozen orders with them now nothing has for me, and the service has been great. I understand for others it hasn’t. The mods have made their decision re trade listing due to issues encountered on here.

They're 40 mins drive from me. I've ordered and paid for goods online, got a collection email the following day and picked stuff up without any issues. And they are the cheapest when it comes to refilling cylinders. I appreciate others have had issues, but I've no problem with them.

Let's not panic. There's nothing to suggest that you will lose your money or anything remotely nefarious :)

I have, within the past week, had dealings with Pellpax in relation to a pistol that I purchased from them. The comms were as expected, and timely, as was the delivery. I wasn't satisfied with the pistol, and upon contacting them, a collection and refund were arranged without any issues.

I think the main issue that people have been experiencing is their communication at times. Whether this is due to staffing issues, or something else, I have no idea, but my experience with them has so far been positive.

Maybe AGF membership wasn’t doing them any good is what I think you’re saying in a round about way ?

The AGF admin cut ties with them as posted in this thread.

Short version.

I’m not going around saying which trade member went but it was getting to a point where we were best not associated with them anymore

Blimey. Order of the boot. Drop kicked. Ain’t no easy way of describing it I guess. 🤷‍♂️

Might take a motorcycle ride over to their shop premises when the weather’s a bit warmer and see what their shop and staff are like for myself. I might also order a couple of tins of pellets for the here and now and see what sort of experience I have. I’ve never used them before.

Just to offer my experience with Pellpax,

I've ordered a bunch of wadcutters from them quite late on Tuesday 3rd. I was thinking that they'd box them up the next day, maybe get delivered Thurs 5th-Friday 6th... but nothing all week, in fact no emails since I placed the order. I called them on Saturday 7th just to find out what's going on with the order and apparently nothing is out of stock it just hasn't been dispatched yet.

The person I spoke to on the phone was pleasant enough, warned me that RM have not been sending tracking emails, but advised to call by Tuesday PM (!) if I hadn't gotten any. Today being that Tuesday, I'm expecting them to be dispatched today - but honestly I don't know how it has taken over a week to put a few tins of pellets in a box and get it shipped. Like I would understand if I was buying from a member here, people have a life to live, work, family, other commitments - but surely a company with employees can find time to turn things around more quickly than this?

I probably won't use them again.
