It seems Pellpax are no longer on the Trade Forums section

I bought a gun from them last November - it’s developed a fault & needs sorting but trying to get in touch is proving to be a nightmare

Phone & emails go unanswered

I would think it is maybe because they didn't really offer much to the Forum as a whole
If you look at the people who are in there they answer and get involved and run specials for members etc be that a discount code or sponsoring the odd giveaway etc. I have used Pelpax before but unless you are buying they simply don't get back in touch and their aftersales leaves a lot to be desired with the owner having to sort stuff out on here and it still not getting done fast IIRC.
There are better traders on here with @CrawleySurplusStore / @Blackwood Outdoors / @Flare Sight System Ltd. being 3 i have and do use on a regular basis with all 3 being happy to help and actually getting back to you. Also look for a forum discount code
I Live near Leeds but will ring CSS first, I use BO for my night gear.
I can only say what i have experienced but this doesnt mean the other traders dont do a great job its just the ones i have used recently

That’s why they are no longer on here … customer care is terrible!
Good luck 🤞

There was a post the other day saying one was removed and another one in the trade section.

Yes i agree their customer service is 1* star, you can ring and ring and ring their sales line this is a potential sale, people ring a couple of times and give up and go elsewhere, sale lost. why don't they answer the phone??? I ordered a gun ap 900 in january 8/9th paid a 100 deposit told late feb or mid march by a young lady, got in touch friday after many many unanswered phone calls, spoke to a quite curt fella just said no early april i am now, seriously thinking of cancelling my order and giving it to somebody who will a answer the phone b polite c customer care. Or they may be that busy that they can't answer the phone. I Just don't know what's up with people nowadays if my lively hood depended on it, it would of been put right months back, i don't think they will be missed.

Must admit when I try to call them very hard to get it answered but I am close enough to walk there and to deal face to face that may be why I get better service as difficult to ignore people face to face

I ordered from them twice and first time wasn’t great, second time was a car crash, so never bothered again.
The amount of things they list as in stock that aren’t is insane.
Range and Country or Redbeck shooting for me now going forward.

I too ordered a rifle in Jan, was told it would be with me end of February. I've heard nothing from them since.

I recently saw a review where a customer was waiting 7 months and he said communication was non existent. I'm not in the habit of slating businesses but my worry is what's stopping me waiting 7+ months then them simply saying we can't get the rifle here's your deposit back.

A bit of communication goes a long way and being straight up with your customer base ensures you have return business.

There have been numerous threads on here about the shocking service from Pellpax.

Ross then comes online and apologises and said he is going to sort the issues out but nothing ever changes and the same old issues continue.

I dont know how the company survives (n)

I only live 25 miles away but when using them I have found that they fall somewhat short of the promises in the hype. It's the RFD at my range for me now. I'd be reluctant to use Pellpax, even if they are cheaper. Too many new guns go wrong, and I just don't want the hassle of dealing with a company who make claims about their service that are not available in practice.
I suppose when you buy a gun at a cut-throat price there is not a lot spare for service.

Sounds like I was very lucky with the 3 rifles I ordered over last 3/4 years, couldn’t have praised the whole process more. Think their days were numbered after the akela, again mines been spot on, should do the lottery 🤔

@Pellpax are still a member, perhaps reaching out to them may yield better results? Ross always seemed reasonable when things went wrong, just slightly sad they didn’t engage more, we are literally people who want to buy guns and love a bargain, it seems like the perfect match.

Sent Ross a message - although I note he hasn’t been in the forum since Feb 25th!!

They have a gun of mine that was returned to be put right, they have admitted they have no idea where it is and have ordered me a new one. So I guess mine will rock up on the second hand section

They were dire before they changed hands and it seems little has changed.
