Older Reels…. Still in use

My old SS9000 big pit carp reels in use at this very moment. Solid, reliable and dependable.

I have SS3000 and SS2600 for smaller carp waters, none have ever let me down. Can’t say that about my more “modern” reels unfortunately.

Wow, I've never actually seen one but drooled over many an advert for them in the early 1990s. They were something like £299 each back then!

I still have Shimano 4500GT reels from that era and they have never let me down. I have had the Daiwa Infinity X which are absolute tractors.
 
I love the older Shimano reels, I still have a pair of 5010's somewhere , I don't go fishing much these days due to health issues, but I might dust them off next time I go.
 
Hello, Just watched Jack Hargreaves Old Country and he was catching his first trout that was a relative to the Char, The American Brook Trout , And using a Garcia Mitchel 710 Auto reel, I had one back many years when i fished Farmoor 1, Anyone remember ??
 
i still have intrepid and Shakespeare Spinning Reels like these clonkers all my gear is 1970s/80s:)

Been using 2 diawa 7ht mag reels well when I got the chance but I still have my diawa millionaire 600m or similar model number, It's the black and gold one. It's got to be nearing 35 years old or there abouts.
