What are people using/recommending for nv illumination?
I am currently using an old tracer one but the switch is quite noisy....

Hello, First i would check with the Alpex what I/R is best used, LED or VCSL , Then look at what type , 850 or 940, The latter is more covert and shorter distances , While the 850 will be better for those long distance shots

Ok great, I’ll look into it. My current no works ok it’s just the switch is noisy.

Hello, Only LED works on my old Night Vision scope and i use a 850 and 940 Fox torch , Short range Ratting the 940 very good, Rabbits at 40/50 Yard the 850 best, If you find the VCSL ( Laser ) works best you can get these in 850 and 940

For airgun stuff I use a nitefox , rather than having steps for brightness it has a rotary dial so you can set it exactly to your needs . I think I paid about £40 for it about 18 months and have been more than happy with it .

I use a laserluchs bought from @One on top of two years ago. Really suits my alpex with the adjustable focus . But in general he's clued up with i.r stuff.

I use one of those figure of 8 clamps with the torch on top of scope , That may work on the Alpex Lite

Ludicrous lumins , lots of different mounting options. That’s the interchangeable 3D mount.

I use a ludicrous lumens 940nm actually got the 850nm too. mounting I use a scope to picattiny mount then use a quick detachable picattiny scope mount with the torch in works great..
