I have been spending on collets and chuck, quick mount tool post and bed and spindle oil for the myford, going to make a feed screw dog clutch tomorrow if I get time

All those bits and bobs add up, its like a bottomless pit and then you see another cool 'gadget' that will fit and you feel you got to have it!

Its amazing I can not find anyone who sells a 6inch Boxford chuck back plate 1/2 inch 8tpi thread in the UK, two places I found one in the USA the other in Australia Ordered one from America on Ebay because it was pre drilled so I don't have to do much to it to fit it.

Cost £86.18 inc the delivery and import tax

its for a Burnerd griptru chuck that has 3 equally spaced bolt holes if the holes don't align I will have to drill my own.

The bolt circle matches up with the discription from the supplier, so fingers crossed it will be ok.

That's a cracking Boxford—looks complete and well cared for. Clean it up, service it, and it'll give you decades of accurate work. Great buy
