Well, not so much for me, but for my wife and son. They went in on shared ownership of a aircuda max in .22. Still, I like to live vicariously.

Put a sentinel x 10-40x50 ir on top and a cheapy bipod up front.

The JTS supplied silencer does quieten it down enough for back garden and Pete's 35yd range.

Seems plenty accurate enough out of the box and my 13 year old was cutting cards out to 35 today.

Trigger needed a bit of tweaking, the magazines are an extremely tight fit and will need a bit of sanding, and the SS tray doesn't quite line the pellet with the breach perfectly. All can be dealt with I think.

For what it cost, it seems to be a fair amount of gun. We'll take it to 50yds next week and see how it does.

He was full of himself at the range today! Some of the regulars made.a real fuss of him, so I think it was a pretty special day.

Certainly quite different from the BSA I had at his age. But I remember being equally thrilled about that back then.

NGD is always a big day 😁

Looks nice that. Looks quite similar to a Hw100 full length. Good size cylinder too.

We did two fills for a three hour range session. I didn't count shots, but when he moves back to benchrest practice sheets we'll get a better idea.

The regulator seems to be stable, so that's good. I'll get a chrono over it soon.

Fair play, that looks like a cracker! Haven’t seen one in the flesh but it looks well finished and excellent quality!

I haven't been to Petes Airgun Farm for a while but its a good range. Relaxed & friendly.

They're a really nice bunch down there are are very helpful and knowledgeable gang.

They've been super good with my eldest, and my youngest is counting the days until he can shoot at the pistol range!

Hopefully will be able to get there with my wife on Friday so she can put the gun through it's paces 😁

That is a very sleek looking rifle and a nice looking piece of wood. HNGD

It's painted beech I think. It still looks good through. Although we'll see how long it takes before it might show dings. I've seen someone strip it back and stain it, so that's always an option. But the metalwork is nice. Even the mags are all metal. The US market loves it's slugs!!
